Technical support is a complete joke.

Technical support is a complete joke. They do not have specs on telescopes and mounts sold by Meade in the past. They do not have specs on current telescopes but instead tell you to go to the website and figure it out yourself. They dont have access to the specs on their own products! Their excuse is that they dont sell telescopes but only supply them to dealers. A complete abrogation responsibility.

Cant get a responce made 6 attempts for help right now they get sa 0 for helping me e rush

can not get auto star off of a Forgan country and cant see any images thru main eye piece I have asked for help and never recieved any help

User's recommendation: dont expect help on there product.

Select Portoflio now tells me they have only recieved partial payment

Select Portfolio is a JOKE! there are intentionally trying to get home owners to default on the home loans so the government to bail them out..I had sent two payments and they tell me they only recieved one. They will try anything to get the loan to default and cause a foreclosure. The Government needs to look into thier activities and unethical practices....................another bail ou to an industry that caused this mess in the first place ...........I warn you to stay away from this company. I gaurantee that they will be out of business in a year! Watch

Meade CaptureView Binocular/Camera Sucks

I recently bought the Meade CaptureView CVB 1003-2 Binocular/Camera. Nowhere in the advertisement for this product did it mention where it was made. 1. It is made in China. 2. They don't have drivers for Windows Vista and a support person told me they will not write and distribute those drivers. 3. The support person's solution was to find a computer running Windows XP and install the drivers there. 4. I did that. The drivers would not load on that PC either. 5. Their web site does not list the camera as one of their products. 6. Their web site does not offer email support. Summary: Don't buy Meade products. They suck.

I have the same issue and problem. The drivers are for Win98SE or below.

There is no soure for WINXP drivers. It's basically useless, other than I guess you can use it as a pair of generic binoculars.

Meade Products Suck!

I bought the Meade CaptureView CVB 1003-2 Binocular/Camera a few days ago thinking this was a reputable company and product. 1. It is made in China. 2. The driver is not compatible with Windows Vista. 3. When I called support and asked if they had drivers for Vista, I was told to find a computer running Windows XP. 4. I found a computer running XP and the drivers still won't load. 5. This model is not listed on their support web site. 6. Their web site does not offer email support. Summary. Meade products suck. Don't waste you money.
