AI Highlights
  • - Broke down after buying from McKinney; towed to OKC; spark plug/coil issues.
  • - McKinney touts a $1100 inspection; staff denied; GM calls it a tactic.

Bought a 2012 VW Tiguan from McKinney Dealership 2 weeks ago, for my daughter. Car broke down on hwy, had it towed to OKC VW Dealership, service tech informed us of spark plug and coil issues, approx.

$380 plus $113 towing fee. Also tech informed us that these were easily caught in original dealership inspection.

When the car was purchased, the dealership in McKinney boasted of their $1100 inspection that all of their cars go through before we can take ownership. When I questioned the McKinney dealership the sales associate denied stating this and the General Manager said it was a sales tactic. Very rude, condescending, etc.

I have letters from the OKC dealership verifying the above. Can you please help us?
