I am a tenant who was wrongfully charged $300 by McKenna & Vane Property Management for door damage they claimed was caused by someone backing into the wall with a car. They claimed there were tire marks and visible impact.

This is completely false.

The technician who came to inspect clearly said there were no marks, no external damage, and that the door frame likely failed internally. Despite this, they ignored the technicians statement and fabricated a false justification.

They have provided no photos, no inspection evidence, and continue to insist I pay.

Ive filed a complaint with the Howard County Department of Consumer Protection and Maryland Attorney General. Tenants beware document everything and dont accept fabricated charges!

Loss:
$300

Preferred solution: Full refund
