Because I know them from years ago
- - Sold my father's small house for a pittance.
- - Three lots exist; one has a large, new home.
- - The third-lot house is large and stands out.
I sold my fathers small house about 9 years ago. It had 3 lots and I basically got pittance for it.
Not much happened for years; about 2 years ago they built a rather large home on one of the lots. OK Then on Christmas Day my brother sent me a link to another house and it was my parents former home and I was delighted to see what they did inside, It had been tastefully redone and fit into the quaint neighborhood. Today 12/26/2021 he sent me another link which was to the monster house they built on the third lot. This neighborhood is quiet and older.
The size of the house itself spells money, money, money and is an eyesore in the neighborhood.
What goes with the McGrath Builders? Money, money, money!
John McGrath is a good man.The other guy Pat”..,is a Thief.
- - Illegal workers built the foundation; porch poured over trash and scrap blocks; a 300-year-old oak was cut in Newtown for development.
The scoundrel used illegal aliens to build my foundation The concrete block used was leftover scrap that got mortared together. The porch was poured on top of construction trash.
When reported to the County, their response was. “May not be perfect, but it’s OK. This Pat also tried to short cut the number of vents in the ceiling and roof until McGrath caught it and made them do it right. If there’s a problem of any sort, it’s not McGrath, it’s that weasel “partner” .
In Newtown, that same weasel cut down a 300yr old Oak Tree to expand the development. He’s the problem anywhere you build by McGrath.
They use his name then try to squeeze profit outta “some people” more than others.
Any diverse buyer outta watchout for that devil..!! I moved outta the State.,
You use Mcgrath foundation to promote your business
Happens evry year around this yime
Mcgrath Homes Review from Royersford, Pennsylvania
- - Villas at Linfield was abandoned after final settlement, leaving driveways and roadways incomplete; pattern seen in Bucks and Montgomery counties.
I live in the Villas at Linfield, a McGrath developed community. Keeping this short,
upon settlement of the final home this builder abandoned the community and Limerick Twp without completing driveways, roadways and many public improvements that were required.
This seems to be a consistent method of operation by McGRATH and I suggest anyone considering a purchase from this unethical builder do their diligence in his past performance. His actions have been consistent in the past few years in both Bucks and Montgomery county.

MCGRATH HOMES = AWESOME PEOPLE
- - One year in a McGrath Homes home.
- - David, the service manager, kept me at ease and McGrath is a local family-run business.
I bought a home in the VIllas of Newtown and did it years ago. The Builder McGrath Homes fell on hard times and things got delayed - but they always said that I would move in one day .
I am happy to say that I am celebrating my 1 year anniversary there. Things are just awesome -sure I had some issues in my house - but McGrath homes service manager and worker David really kept me at EASE and met every need along the way (probably more then he was supposed to just dont tell his bosses that - HAHA). I say that because I see all people across america full of NEGATIVE that I thought I would bring the POSITIVE back for a moment. McGrath Homes did build me my dream home and I am forever in DEBT.
my Friend put in a DEPOSIT with another local builder and lost all their money.
I did not lose anything and I gained alot. BUY HOMES FROM MCGRATH - if you have any questions message me....This COMPANY is a LOCAL FAMILY RAN BUSINESS and they build a good home - PERIOD
- Family
- Trusting
- Friendly
McGrath builders liars
- - Experience with McGrath Builders at Linfield National has been awful.
- - Months passed with no progress.
- - I won't recommend McGrath Builders.
Our Experience with the McGrath Builders at the Linfield National site has been awful. It has been many months and we still do not have our home.
I understand the excuses of weather in the months of Jan, Feb and even March. The excuse of the World Cup being on is ridiculous. I drive by several times a week and no one is working. What is the excuse then?
I am aware there are many sites this builder works on however I feel this site has been unethically ignored with the hopes to get other possibly pricier homes completed first. They continue to lie to us and tell us time-frames. The time-frames come and go.
I will never advise anyone to use McGrath builders.
Angry Buyer
- - Promised driveways, roads, entrance, and warranty work incomplete.
- - McGrath Builders won't respond to calls or letters.
- - Not a reputable company.
Has anyone listened to what is going on with McGrath Builders -Villas of Linfield PA? They have not completed what they promised -driveways, roads, warranty issues, entrance to back of development, sink holes you name it.
How much longer can this go on? We made settlement Three (3) years ago and still do not have what we put our hard earned money into.
McGrath Builders will not respond to calls or letters -But they want residents to be Ambassadors for them - Why is this not being brought to the attention of anyone? They are not a reputable company to do business with.
