Yes, as a result of whatever intermediary work you did, I did receive an email at the end of last week providing me with an email address through which they said I could directly contact the author.

When I have completed my due diligence, I do plan to contact Mr. Alexander concerning his excellent history of the Northwest Ordinance.

I might also add, that the biographical information which I expected from his primary publisher was found via the authors' section of Amazon.com.

Consequently, I have ordered and am awaiting delivery of the Mr. Alexander's book.

User's recommendation: Since, as stated above, I never had any complaint with McFarland and Company, I really have no recommendation to other potential customers. As far as I know they are a good publishing house for the types of fictional and creative materials which appear to be their prime cut. Handling an history text was a sort of peripheral enterprise, but one I am happy they chose as Mr. Alexander might not have been published by the larger houses which specialize in histories.
