I cannot get any sound out of the 400.2...
- - No sound from MB Quart 400.2 amp.
- - BRP head unit to QSC K12 works; RCA and laptop outputs are similar.
- - User suspects a bad amp.
I cannot get any sound out of the 400.2 amp included in the MB Quart Stage 5 kit for my 2026 Can-Am X3 XDS with the BRP 10.25' touchscreen head unit. I tried plugging my laptop into the amp directly and still get no sound.
I tested the RCA output from the BRP and laptop with a multimeter, and the levels are similar. I tested the power to the amp with the multimeter, and it is getting 12 volts.
I plugged the BRP into a QSC K12 amplified speaker, and I got great sound out of it. I'd say I have a bad amp.
