Contacted Chevrolet consumer relations they proceeded to contact the dealership and they didn’t want to work with us. I’m stuck with the hard water spots. The dealership never tried to wash the truck when they sold it to me.

Original review Dec 12, 2024
Purchased a brand new Chevy Colorado 2024 traded in a 2024 Tesla and some cash down when I received the vehicle it was not clean do not go over all aspects of the vehicle ,when the sales person handed over the vehicle it had severer hard water spots which I didnt notice til I got home when I called the dealership, they did not want to do anything about the hard water spots then I got a hold of the sales manager, and he was willing to pay whatever for me to find somebody to detail it out and try to remove the hard water spots which I did, which I dont know nothing about, but I found somebody to do it for $350 he could only get out about 75% of the hard water spots with two tries on it I contacted the dealership to let him know that they did not get all the hard water spots out and if they could help me out finding another detailer to hopefully get it done right the refused to help me at first until I contacted Chevrolet customer service then they said they would only help me if I bring the vehicle back to them, which is an hour and 45 minutes away and keep the vehicle for two days and will not give me a Rent-A-Car or a loaner. Thats where it stands.

It is now at a stale mate.

I refuse to go all the way there and leave it for two days. I did not do anything wrong.
Cons:
  • More concerned about the sale than the customer

Preferred solution: Price reduction

User's recommendation: Don’t trust the sales person. Make sure you do a thorough inspection of the vehicle before leaving the lock the lot and don’t give up your trade-in until you went over it.
