It depends if they offer us something for ruining my birthday and vacation

Max Beach Resort gets an 'F' for customer service! I booked our room back in August for my birthday on November 6 through 9.

Hurricane Milton happened on October 9. On November 5 (my birthday), I received an email from them stating that due to parking lot construction to fix Milton's damage, we wouldn't have beach access from our resort - we would have to use someone else's access, which was 'only a 5 minute walk.' I asked for a discount, since we weren't getting what we had paid for, and the staff called the manager, who said absolutely no discounts of any kind would be given. I asked why I was just finding out about this the day before our trip, when we were already packed and ready to go. I stated Milton happened a while ago.

The staff said 'Milton just happened.' Well, it happened on October 9, and I'm just finding out on November 5. They didn't care.

We were devastated. We cancelled our trip.
