Matawan World of Gardening - Shoddy Customer Service

I purchased a very large umbrella (Cantilever) from the store several years ago. Although I only opened the umbrella maybe 10 times in three years the cord that opens the umbrella broke. I went back to the store to find out how I could get the umbrella repaired, which I was willing to pay for. I was told by the owner of the store that my only option was to return the 100 to 150 pound umbrella and stand to the manufacturer in California and there was nothing else I could do (there was no local repair option). The owner was curt. He insinuated that I left the umbrella out when it was windy and therefore I broke the umbrella. I told the owner he shouldn't be selling shoddy products. His response, the manufacturer is the only game in town. With such poor customer service I will never shop there again.

Yesterday I went into by a fragrant jasmine plant. The nice gentleman told me that it was a fragrant vine jasmine plant and he says it has a lot of fragrance so I purchased it for the home does not smell looked it up online it does not have a fragrance I asked if I could return it to exchangefor a Frangrant anything they told me you cannot return any plantswhatsoever but this will probably be the last time I go there
