Mastock Malinois - Sick puppy 3-7-2010
I bought a young puppy 3-6-2010 and had arranged for a vet visit the very next morning after my trip to Illinois. I noticed my puppy had diarrhea. I believe the vet determined that the puppy had coccidiosis. we were worried about the puppy surviving he had diarrhea for over two weeks, and the vet tried multiple different things to help the puppy pull through. Eventually he recovered but always had stomach issues. I sent Eric an email stating my displeasure and how unacceptable it was that the puppy was sick, considering that he has a guarantee and he accused me of getting the puppy infected on our relatively short, drive home from Illinois to Wisconsin. The vet wasnt buying it and neither was I. no restitution was made for the increase of vet bills that I had or the guarantee that he had made on the puppys health.

User's recommendation: Iโ€™m sad to see people have had similar experiences and worse with their puppies. Eric definitely needs to do some huge changes to ensure the puppies health. Once my puppy grew up, he was an amazing working dog.

We contacted Eric Wilson of Mastock Malinois about a litter of Belgian Malinois puppies. We located Mr. Wilson on the internent and liked the looks of the parents.I have been involved with Malinois for 30 years.I decided to b uy 6 of his 8 week old puppies from his stud dog Blaze I paid a required deposit and made the trip to Batavia Ill. on April 7th 2013.The location was a dog grooming business named Woof Beach in Batavia Ill.When i arrived at the location and viewed the puppies.I was concerned that they only weighed 5# normal weight is 12-14 pounds. I questioned the health and the size and was told all my lines start out small and they are all vet checked and ready to go.I finished paying the balance at the time of pickup. These puppies at this time were infected with Parvo.Mr. Wilson and his partner Aaron Rice were well aware these 6 pups were infected, Apon my return trip home I met with many families for the delivery of there new pups. Two days later the nightmare began and all the puppies were infected with Parvo. As families rushed to save their puppies at their local Vet.But to no avail. All the puppies died within 1 week of pickup. The vet bills for 1 puppy were over 7k Mr. Wilson and Aaron Rice have done nothing at all. They refuse contact and have no intention of standing behind their contract. It was stated by 4 different animal hospitals that the puppies were infected with Parvo before my trip to Batavia.Even knowing this they are still selling puppies from this location. The Dept. of Animal health in Ill. has written them many summons for offenses .Including operating a business with no liscene.Parvo is a killer and few dogs stand a chance agaisnt it.All the shot records for the puppies was falsified and no shots were given.

I bought an adult Belgian Malinois from these people 8 years ago. When the dog arrived, he was severely underweight and a nervous wreck.

He also had Lyme Disease, which I took care of and fed him 3 times a day to gain weight. It took the dog 5 years to trust my husband (he had a huge fear of men), and has reactions to loud and sudden noises and tremours in fear. I have often wondered what happened to this dog as a puppy. When I contacted Eric about the dog's anxieties, he told me that he was fine and just nervous in a new environment.

I had the dog evaluated by a professional K-9 trainer (I was a cop at the time) and told me the dog may have been abused because he doesn't have enough aggression drive to pursue *** training. So, I just worked with him alone and now he is doing great. I still wonder what he was put through as a pup. I will never get another dog or puppy from these people again.

I feel for the person whose whole litter of pups died from Parvo. Keep your documentaions and sue the *** out of them!
