Terrible service and uses massage guns instead of actual massage
Good morning. I signed up for a 6 mth membership at the Brookhaven location which is 1 hr from my house as it was the only location w appointment on the day I was in need.
I signed up expecting all locations would provide the same service, which is definitely NOT true. The Decatur location is closest to me and provides terrible service and the owner constantly tries to up charge you on each visit. The massage therapist use a massage gun most of the hour you are with them. This is NOT the type massage I received that made me want to sign up.
I have given it 4 months to improve and it has yet to do so.
I would like to cancel my membership effective immediately without another payment for terrible service to be withdrawn from my account. I am happy to discuss if you need more information.

My wife and I have been trying to cancel her monthly membership due to our financial hardship and have tried several times to contact the local as well as corporate staff to do so but to no avail. They only care about money and NOT their customers!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS UNCARING, UNCOMPASIONATE COMPANY!!

Verified Reviewer |Resolved: Gift card that is not being honored
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. I reported that i had a gift card that I was told had expired but it specifically stated it didn't have an expiration date.
They put the amount back on the card and said it should be good. Have yet to use it.Thank you!
I have a gift card that the franchise in South Sarasota said has expired, even though the card states it does not expire. The lady said that since it was bought from the owners of the previous franchise at that location, it may have expired.
The back of the card says it 'does not expire.' Please help me to be able to use this card.
The number is 1124****. If it says it doesn't expire, it shouldn't expire!

I have a genuine problem and cannot continue with membership and I have been trying to reach the manager for several days. She has not called me back. I do not live in Atlanta so it's difficult for me
I had spoken to the manager several months ago saying I cannot continue membership. They asked me for proof that I was moving.
I did not have at that time because I would only get it after I moved and I do not live in Atlanta so I have several hours collected.
I've called her several times to resolve this problem. She has not been calling me back.

There was so much air freshener used in the sitting area that I left with a headache. People go to get a massage to feel better not to feel worse.
The bathroom smelled like Febreze. If you are allergic to air fresheners or are sensitive to them do not go here!!

I am writing today because Ive been so upset with the way this company sales process is unethical. People
In marketing, they call it the bait & switch, or a loss leader.
And this is what your sales people do. On my first massage they set me up tier 2. I had no idea theres tier 1 and tier 2. Ive been getting massages for over 30 years in my life and no one has ever used those[hrases.that.
Heres my problem with your business practices.
Maria is great. Massage was great, when I called back to make my first appointment after the payment came out of my account, explained that to get Maria. It was $12 more because she was a teir 2

I wasnt very happy but my shoulder with chronic so I got a tier 1. Which was the absolute worst Massage Ive ever had in my life. I was worse off for about 10 or 12 days. And I went to someone else half the price and I got releif.
So the next Time came around and of course I paid the $12 and went to Marie again.
I did a 90 minute massage and had to pay the $12 extra for the tier 2 and $20 for the 30 minute add on. Yesterday, being my third on my contract, they said all she had was a 90 minute. So I went because I like her and I thought it was going to be $20 +12$ more. No one explained how expensive this just was.
It was $40 +18 this time, one month later. And then they had the audacity to ask for a tip. I spent $68 because I gave only10$ tip. Worst business practice ever!
I do not and will not do business with people that play the switch game and no warning of price hikes like that.
Its unethical to say the least, and it should be illegal.
Think about it, have you ever gone to get oil service with the coupon but yet you get there and they say you need this and you need that and blah blah blah you never wanna go back. You know theyre trying to rip you off thats exactly the same feeling I have with yall. Your people are not us. The place is nice Marias great.
But I cannot pay $168 for a Massage.
Please agree to cancel and let us not get ugly with each other

I had a service there 6 months ago. Nobody addressed my issue they wouldn't return my money.
I don't live in California.
They wouldn't let me transfer the service they wouldn't help me and there was no resolve. Very poor customer service never return phone calls six months later

Very bad customer service
Hi,
I'm a new customer and was really excited to try massage heights , I booked a service for me and my mom so I can spend some quality time with her , unfortunately today was my appointment at 5:30 pm but I felt headache from morning and by afternoon it became worse and had to call sick . I called massage heights Carmel valley location right away and told them Im really sick and need to cancel the appointment.
The receptionist "Ally" said I have to pay the full amount or come for the appointment. I said it's not fair to your therapist if I show up. I work hard and don't want to lose my money but I cannot be unfair and let your therapist fall sick. She called me back and said she charged me the money .
I said I'm sick and I don't know how early I could have informed her coz it happened today but she disconnected my call and said not to call back. I kept calling her and then had to drive my daughter there ...she told my daughter she blocked my number from everywhere and was very disrespectful
She charged me the money and she spoke to her friend and laughed when my 14 year old was there ..I did not shout , I was not disrespectful .
I said I'm really sick and help me this one time but she laughed at us and called security on us. I have never been humiliated like this before.
She blocked my number and she charged me $80 and disrespected when I was very sick and was going through so much.
This is what your website says but you charged me $80 for no reason "We ask that in return, should you feel ill prior to any scheduled appointment that you contact your local Retreat to reschedule your appointment for a later date, without any penalty"
Please explain what did I do wrong here ...when I said sorry multiple times and asked her to help me as a friend and woman who equally works hard for her paycheck.
I have never seen such bad customer service ever before.

I had a service and it wasn't a good service. It was a facial and I left messages.
Nobody addressed my issue finally 5 months later.
Some new manager got back with me. They won't return my money and I don't live in that state so I can't get anything back
