UNETHICAL. VIOLATED PRIVACY
In my opinion, Mary Prendergast, counselor in Parkton MD should NOT be DISCUSSING ANYTHING about you with her patients of all things!!! ....
This includes phone conversations, appointment making, or anything at all. Whether or not it is a VIOLATION OF HIPPA LAWS, it is still COMPLETELY UNETHICAL for her to do such a thing. Telling her MENTALLY UNSTABLE patient information about me created A DETRIMENTAL SITUATION for me... Therefore, in my opinion, I would NOT see nor discuss ANYTHING with Mary Prendergast .
She gets too friendly with her patients and wrongfully shares other peoples personal information with them. RUN!!!! ... Whatever information a person shares with her and decisions they may make IS NOT a patient of hers business.
PERIOD. She should have ethically told that patient she can't discuss ANYTHING with her even if she referred them to her WITHOUT THAT PERSON'S CONSENT.
