Bought 2 large double sliders with a picture window center. When it was -20F I noticed drafts coming in the tops and bottoms of the slider portion.Contacted the lumber yard I bought them from and they put me in contact with Infinity.A man came out and installed more weather stripping. This past week when it got down to -20F again I looked at the top of the movable sash and can see light through a gap on top. This is where I felt the draft to begin...

My experience with Marvin has revealed that the company not only makes an overpriced product of inferior quality but that it also could care less about customer service. I spent over $150,000 on Marvin windows and doors, all of which were their "premium" grade products. Subsequently, I have had an ongoing problem with serious wood rot, notwithstanding having judiciously painted and caulked the windows. There is simply no excuse for any product...

We have a large house full of Marvin windows, recently we remodeled and were talked into going with Marvin again though ones installed in 1981 leaked. Now the brand new very expensive wood windows leak rain through them. The glass store said that is normal in high wind and rain. Well, it would have been nice to know because other brands that is not "normal." It was suggested to put hurricane shutters over the windows. This is California not...

I have six year old Marvin windows. Cold air rips through them live a sieve. All ultrex integrity. My 1964 wood frame windows were much tighter. I will add thermal images soon. Pissed in mn.

Bought Integrity windows & patio door, installed in 12.15. The WORST customer scve experience EVER! Waiting for 5th tech visit since April to fix widow that will not slide. CUSTOMER SERVICE? There is none...no follow thru...takes 6 weeks for tech. Dealer Bliffert Lumber, Waukesha, WI scores 0 on follow up. 3 people who do not return calls. Treat you like Family? Mom & Pop biz so dysfunctional!

We remodeled our house, installing 33 Marvin windows of various sizes and styles. Within 8-10 years they began to lose their seals and cloud up. We replaced 4 of the worst. Now another 15 are bad. Wood sashes have rotted out and are leaking water inside. Almost all have lost their seals. We will have to replace them all and I'm guessing the cost will exceed 15K. Marvin rep visited once and was willing to supply some window 'blanks' but we would...

We ordered 2 Integrity Patio Doors with grids between the glass to match our Marvin windows and to match a door from a different manufacturer. BUYER BEWARE. These grids rattle terribly when the door is opened and closed. They have bumpers to reduce the rattle, but they don't work. They make A LOT of noise. Marvin says this is how they are supposed to operate. Of course, there's no warning of noise before the purchase. We contacted Marvin and...

We bought three Marvin windows (5-feet by 9-feet) with one large window in the center and a slider window on the ends. We noticed water actually collecting in the slider part in front of the center window when we had a rain storm (windows were locked) or precipation forming on the windows with winter cold temperatures. Eventually, the bottom wood sill on the center window started to show water line with absorption and steadily worsening every...

In 2011 I spent thousands installing what I thought were high-end durable windows from Marvin Windows: 6 casements and 3 double hung. They are not durable and wear poorly. Within the first year, the hardware on the casement windows started breaking. The hardware is cheap and poorly designed. Here are specifics: 1 - Screws on casement handles rusted, loosened and now protrude from the handle. 2 - Double hung uses solid metal hardware. The...

The installation of our Marvin Windows was the worst mis-hap of poor trade manship than we have ever experienced. We actually had to request the workers stop caulking, immediately, before they did any more damage to our brick. The inside trim work and painting job was terrible. We wish we had gone with an independent contractor rather than going thru Marvin directly. We are going to have to re-do all of the work that was done. We HOPE the...

built home with marvin windows and exterior french doors in 1994. marvin salesperson sold me on "lifetime warrantee". first 2 years one window rotted and leaked. with resistance marvin replaced it. at year 8-9 windows exposed to rain and wind rotted but marvin said "no warrantee" so i didn't pursue any further and didn't have the extra $ to replace; i just didn't open the windows once closed. i discovered that there was class action lawsuit...
