Marvel Beauty Schools - Hair Styling Course Review from Toronto, Ontario

WORSE SCHOOL EVER! The teachers are unprofessional, one of the teachers can't even speak English. They just want your money and that's it. I was a student there for 10 months and I DONT RECOMMEND ANYBODY who wants to learn how to do hair to got to that school. The teachers teach whenever they feel like it. The school itself is falling apart the ceiling is leaking, the chairs are messed up, there Products are the WORSE and the school is out dated.

Marvel Beauty Schools

This Hairstyling school is not worth the $8000.00 tuition fees. Did not have a pleasant experience and just hope to prevent others from making the same mistake. Research the school and don't fall for fake smiles, Otherwise you may end up diploma less and broke like most students. Some teachers yelled to much and some just ignored you. Your situation didn't seem to matter to the director of the school. Completely a mistake and urge others to beware and to do more research before committing and also speak with other students, but most of all trust your instincts I didn't and my gut was warning me

I agree with all the complaints on here. I dropped out after only 2 months because I couldn't take it anymore!

The school is not professional and not taken very seriously. The people who run it do not care about anything more than money. The school barely has any supplies and doesn't even supply students with products. It was a huge disappointment as I lost out on over $3000.

I was so excited to come to this school then was let down hugely! The school was very dirty and not maintained properly at all. I suggest going to a community college to take hairdressing as it is taken a lot more seriously there, not only are they more professional at community colleges, it is much more cost effective. I give huge props to the students who have stuck marvel out to the end.

Theres no way I could have stood another day there!

drama was happening all the time and it was just not a good experience at all. I advice anyone going into the cosmetology field to avoid private schools at all costs!

I went to a marvel beauty school in orillia and I graduated from it but I didnt learn a *** thing. The school was dirty even if you tried to clean it there was too much to handle for one person.

There was no structure or anything. We went through 7 teachers in the 10 months i was care. The main teacher didnt give a *** and she sat in her office all day or tried to be friends with the students. She didnt want to teach she would just do the work for us.

The only ones she taught even a little bit to we're her favourites. The owners also don't know anything about hair and just want money. I paid 10 grand for this *** i hate it and now I'm back in a different school for hair when I should have been half through my apprenticeship.

I haven't had luck with jobs either where I work my manager didnt believe in training her apprentices! All marvels are awful dont go

I have had an equally as unpleasant experience, with breach of teacher-student confidentiality. I have personally been mocked and made fun of as well as heard a vast amour of gossip and poor opinions of fellow students. This is ludicrous, you pay 10000 + dollars to be taught, you don't pay to give away your talent and hard earned precision to the likes of teachers and directors who don't care about you or leaving the office until its time to get their hair done (FOR FREE).

Just leaving a comment, I am a customer not a student but wanted to warn other potential customers to NOT use this school. Totally ruined my hair colour.

I went from blonde with low lights to totally dark brown and now they are saying nothing they can do, I signed a waiver that excuses them of whatever they wish, so now I have to grow this mess out, will take a year...very bad to make a mistake and then blame the customer. :x

I attend to marvel beauty school. DON'T EVER GO TO THIS SCHOOL it is horrible.

Waste of money didn't learn anything, teacher wants to sue their students, it's not organized. The owner of this school does not care about what the students have to say everytime. The director at the marvel in thorn hill got fired we haven't had any teachers or director we Gould get our money back. Don't ever come to marvel the name is nothing you will not learn and you will not get your money worth.

Only have. Few months left and still haven't got all my classes yet don't even know how to do updos color cut nothing.

This school is an embarrassment I would never recommend it to anymore. It's all drama

DO NOT waste your time and money on this school!!
