I recently purchased a Belen TV stand, 70" from Wayfair and It is a piece of garbage. The instructions say that will take 10 minutes to put together.
That in itself is a joke. The second step made me stop in my tracks as none of the hardware fit into each other. The only hardware that you needed to have to put this together was a screwdriver. That is a joke.
As you try to put the male part into the female Part and "simply slide into place", you absolutely need a hammer and/or mallet to pound in the parts to make them even. I called the 800 number to get support and they told me that this is a problem that they have with the parts and that they would send me two new pieces of wood. They did, a week later. I tried the new pieces and the same problem occurred.
So what takes 10 minutes is really a week and about three hours of frustration . You absolutely need a hammer and/or mallet to put this piece of lousy furniture together. And then, the holes for the shelves do not match up so I cannot use any shelves on the side panels unless I wanted tilted shelves. So I only am able to use the three shelves in the center section.
This piece of garbage cost $400, some sights sell it for $600. Stay Away.
