Horrible taste

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • - Muffin mixes seemed like a good deal for a widowed senior on a limited budget.
  • - They were the most awful muffins; tasteless, I threw the rest away.

The muffin mixes seemed like a good deal for a widowed senior citizen on a limited budget. However, they were the most awful muffins I have ever had.

I tried doctoring them with ingredients I had, but nothing helped the flavor.

In the future, if that is the only choice I have, I will stop making muffins! They were completely tasteless and after trying to eat one, I threw the rest away!

Cons:
  • Horrible flavor

Preferred solution: Fix the flavor!

User's recommendation: DO NOT BUT

I was making a pot of beans and wanted some cornbread to eat with it. I looked at a few different brands and decided to buy the Cotton Country Cornbread because it is only me and I didn't want a lot of left overs and the cost was much cheaper than the others I looked at.

I made the cornbread as directed on the package. It was dry and the WORST I have EVER had. I only paid $1.49 but would like you to send me some type of compensation in the way of a couple of coupons or reimbursement.

I have had some other Martha White products like the muffins and I love those, but this cornbread sucked. It was TERRIBLE.I have the product package and receipt if needed.

Product issue

AI Highlights
  • - Four 5-lb Martha White Corn Meal bags (2 Winn-Dixie, 2 Walmart) had bugs.
  • - All bags were bug-infested; customer seeks guidance after four bags were ruined.

I have recently purchased a total of 4 - 5lb bags of your Martha White Corn Meal mix. I bought 2 bags from Winn Dixie and 2 bags from Walmart and all 4 bags had little bugs crawling in the product.

I opened the first bag from Winn Dixie immediately from bringing home from the store and dumped it into my canister on top of a remaining amount only to realize this product was full of bugs. I had to dump it all out including a few pounds I had that was good. I checked the next bag, it had bugs too. I threw both of those away and went to Walmart and purchased 2 more and both had the same issue.

I was thinking it was from the store but it seems to be coming from the factory like this or in transit. Needless to say, this has always been my preferred brand but I can't seem to get a good bag. Please advise.

I am currently out of pocket for 4 bags plus my "good" product that I ruined by dumping a bad bag on top of. UPC code 13300 1**** Best by date May 16, 2022 Thanks,
