Verified ReviewerDeceptive Advertising - Bait and Switch
- Flyer lists 4 lb nuggets at $9.99, but the store doesn't stock them.
- A 5 lb nugget option at $16.99 was offered; the manager blamed Minnesota.
After reviewing the weekly sales flyer, I traveled 30 minutes to their store. After endless searching for the desired product, I finally went to seek help only to learn they don't even stock the item listed in the flyer.
(4 lb chicken nuggets @ $9.99) Instead, the clerk emerged with a different, more expensive product. (5 lb chicken nuggets @ $16.99)
I then requested to speak to the store's manager on duty. This was a complete waste of yet even more time. I was presented with the completely irrelevant excuse of the flyer being printed in Minnesota and therefore the Brillion Wisconsin store location simply couldn't be held responsible whatsoever
I then requested that the store sell me a similar item at the comparable price.
The Manager, Jon, looked at me as I'd lost my mind. He refused my request and informed me that there was no profitability in doing business that way and his store would not experience any losses in this matter.
I finally had enough of Jon and his endless mantra of repeating that the flyers are printed in Minnesota.
I informed Jon that he was absolutely Useless as a manager and left the premises.
I'm very sure there are laws prohibiting this type of activity. I shall continue to spread the word about these criminals.
Preferred solution: Apology
