It hasn't?

Unpleasant 12 day stay @ Marina Dunes RV Park in Marina Ca. We drove in from Idaho to meet our Children & Grandchildren.

We've stayed at this RV Park on 2 previous occasions with minimal issues. Once in the Older section & twice now in the "New" addition. This time we were in site 66 which backs up to a Best Western Motel. Lots of noise not only from the Freeway but from workers there and workers inside the RV Park building privacy fencing between each site. They should build a Sound wall along the Freeway side property line to eliminate the road noise.

Our camp site was flooded out from a crew flushing fire hydrants then they drove off leaving it flooded & decorative bark & debris everywhere. Motel customers were coming over & letting their kids ride their scooters & bicycles drown the driveway and thru the park. Other People were using the RV Park as a turnaround spot because of its circular driveway at all hours of the day & night. A guys on his bicycle shows up EVERYDAY sifting thru the RV Park trash bens throwing the trash on the ground then picking it up & leaving.

. After spending over $2400.00 for an RV spot one would think that Thousand Trails would have a much more secure Park where their customers would feel safe and be able to enjoy the outdoor surroundings. We did contact the site Manager & he did what he could. It just wasn't enough to take the unpleasant experience away.

I would expect Thousand Trails to refund our entire stay because it was that bad.

We talked with numerous campers that were there and leaving after only a one day stay because of what was happening around them & their kids. They felt like for what they were paying it was unsafe and nothing more than a concrete & asphalt parking lot!
