I don't know if anyone can explain this, but I've been reading a lot today about how Maria Duval is a fraud and doesn't exist because I decided to research her today after receiving many solicitations from her and have answered two. I sent $10 on 3/11/10 to get a short reading because much of what Ms. Duval discusses in her solicitations makes a lot of sense, namely the astrological information about the dark (new) moon (I am an astrologer of 40 plus years study and a published author on the subject). This, although a lot of what she says seems to be rubbish, as well, but one must know how to sift through the information to find what makes sense and what doesn't. Most people don't know how to do this. However, I don't dabble in witchcraft or magic, which is a lot of what Ms. Duval offers, and I told her so when I responded to her offer for my brief reading for $10. Also, there is not one single typographical or grammatical error in any of her information. That is incredibly rare, and also impressed me. Further, in this vein, there are disclaimers on her offers that one may or may not get money, and that they are for entertainment purposes only. Finally, on the Better Business Bureau's website (www.bbb.org), under Destiny Research Center, which is the company name where some of Ms. Duval's offers were sent to me from (don't put in an address or zip code; use the BBB USA website) there were only 9 complaints in the past 3 years and 8 of them have been satisfactorily resolved. That's not too bad. The company does not have a rating with the BBB one way or the other. Anyway, I received the reading on 4/11/10 with a note at the top saying that Ms. Duval had received my half talisman, which was not true because I had not sent the half talisman; I still have the whole talisman in my possession. In this reading, she gave me my "lucky" numbers, which were 5, 7, 22, 38, 41, and 49. She also said lucky single numbers for me were 2, 3, 7. She told me what time on April 14, 2010, a night of the new or dark moon, that she would be doing her ritual for me. I ignored this, because, as I said, I don't dabble in witchcraft. I didn't believe in Ms. Duval because she told me that she'd received a half talisman from me which I'd not sent. However, I am a sporting lady and I said to myself that I would try playing the numbers she gave me until the end of April, 2010, which was supposed to be the lucky period to see if I won anything. On 4/17/10 I won $500.00 in the Powerball, with the numbers 5, 22, 41, and 49. You can check the winning numbers for yourself and I am willing to fax the characteristic sheet with the winning numbers on them that Ms. Duval sent me to anyone who asks and provides me with a fax number. I thought I had only won $100 which is the usual prize for winning 4 numbers in the Powerball, however, I had paid $2.00 for the ticket to play the Power Play, which increases one's prize by a certain number of times which is determined when the game is drawn up to 5 times the prize and the prize was multiplied by 5 times when I'd played; you can also check this. Finally, in that vein, the other winning number was 21. If I had had that number or if that number had been 7, I would have won $1 million! Anyone who cares to check this can. It is completely verifiable. Further, I played those numbers last night, 6/1/10 on another game called Quick Draw here in New York, which is similar to Keno, and on the very first play, the numbers 5, 22, 41, and 49 came up again! This time, I only won $20 on it. Now I don't know if Ms. Duval is in cohoots with the New York State Lottery (nothing is impossible to people crooked enough and with enough money and resources!) but when I won the $500.00, I became a believer, and sent for a further report, with more numbers, on 4/19/10, which report cost $45.00, and which report I have not received as of today's date. I filed a complaint with the BBB today, asking either for my report or for my money back. I fully expect my request to be fulfilled one way or another, and, to tell the unvarnished truth, as I've done all along here, I'd rather have the report!
My thoughts exactly!!!
