Worst delivery experience I have ever had

Bought a Craftmatic bed. They were supposed to deliver, setup and remove items per my request and per the paper work. When they arrived they said they were not authorized to take anything away for disposal. I told them it was right on the paper work so they called their supervisor. I explained the supervisor that the bed they were taking with them was in the driveway across the street at my rental house. I had upgraded the bed there with the one I was swapping out for myself. The supervisor then uses this is an opportunity to explain to me that it is a legal technicality, and that they can not remove anything from another address that is not on the paperwork. I said fine then I'll walk across the street and bring the stuff over to my own driveway. In the process of doing this, they packed everything up, got in their truck and rolled up the windows and refused to speak to me or allow me to speak to their manager again, and they left. They left with my new bed! This was Friday Dec 21st 2018. I have had no bed to sleep on for the weekend. They are supposed return Monday. I am very concerned about what kind of shape my stuff will be in since apparently they were violating protocol from the start when they began unboxing and unpacking everything outside in the elements which the paperwork clearly indicates NOT to do. They were also supposed to have me inspect all the packaging before opening anything which they did not do. They were supposed to have me inspect the contents which they did not allow me to do. They were not supposed to leave the property until calling the job completion into the Crafmatic operations center which they did not do. The truck they were driving had no company info on it at all. Just a box truck wrapped with a 5th1/3rd Bank ad. The 2 delivery guys looked really angry and upset, like working was beneath them or something. They were speaking over me to each other in Spanish, which I understand and caught the just of what they were saying which was basically screw me. It was painfully obvious that they did not want to be working on that Friday but between their look and demeanor those 2 guys should be involved in any kind of service work that requires them to interact with the general public. This reflects very poorly on Craftmatic.

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible

Just happen December 6th, 11:30. Came to deliver a new mattress. Did not have the proper tools to take the head board and foot board off. Told my wife they had to break both to get out of the bedroom. $2000.00 set. Gone. I wonder if anything got stolen!

The first delivery date we waited 4 hours and then didn’t show! They called 2 hours later and said they didn’t have our stuff “computer glitch” Hah! The second delivery date was 2 more days late an$ the they delivered only 1/2 the product! Another 2-3 days wait and they just showed up without calling. They were surly and obnoxious when they were here. I would highly recommend staying away from this company !,,,blah blah blah blah blah The servicw was awful. They rarely answered their phones They were weeks late Couldn’t find our stuff Delivered only half of it. We’re pretty nasty on top of this too.

If I could leave a no star review I would. This is the worst delivery service I have ever used...and I mean EVER. I order daily…as in at least one time per day, five days every work week…different items for our corporate office and I have never experienced anything like I have with this company from lack of actual delivery to customer service. I don’t even know if I can manage to describe it. Order placed with company on May 23 June 3 - receive notification item is scheduled for delivery on Friday, June 8th. Receive two additional emails notifying me delivery is scheduled for Friday, June 8th. One email dated the day before, June 7th, informing me my delivery is tomorrow. Friday, June 8…no delivery Monday, June 11 - Phone call to company inquiring about delivery. Response: “Friday, June 8th was an error, delivery was actually scheduled for Friday June 15th. Friday, June 15…no delivery. Monday, June 18 – Telephone call to company inquiring about deliver. Response: “Let me check into what is going on and return your call”. No return phone call. Thursday, June 21st a telephone call was placed by someone with the delivery company to someone in our organization who was not me, the name listed on the order, to inform that the item had been lost and accidentally shipped to New York but has been located and is on its way and scheduled for delivery on Friday, June 22. Friday, June 22…no delivery Monday, June 25th – Telephone call to company. Response: “Let me have the person who was working on this return your call AND Things happen. Those two exact words…’things happen’. However, item was in Atlanta and would be scheduled for delivery Friday, June 29th I bet you can guess by now…no phone call. Friday, June 29…no delivery Monday, July 2 – Telephone call to company. Response: “We only deliver to you area on Friday’s”. Friday, July 6…no delivery Today – Telephone call to company we ordered the product from with the statement track it, have it here this week or we will refuse the order for a full refund of this $2000 conference table…not just the delivery refund we expect. Immediately a telephone call to my office, item will be delivered on Friday, July 13. At this point, regardless if it is delivered, I hope this is enough information for you to see you do not want to do business with this company. Period.

My Purple mattress was scheduled to be delivered May 18th, 2018 with Manna performing a "White Glove Delivery". Manna called me and asked if they could deliver May 17th and I said sure and fixed my schedule to be home.

On the 16th, they called me and told me the mattress wasn't in

Georgia yet and they had to change the delivery to the 25th (Friday of Memorial Day weekend). I told them I had family coming to town and would have to change my schedule, so they needed to make sure they were actually delivering and I changed my schedule around again. A few days later, I was called and told they could not deliver that day as it is a holiday weekend and they would deliver sometime in June, but not sure when because their schedule was filling up. I checked the tracking online and the tracking had changed.

Up until this point, the tracking said the mattress was in Louisiana in Manna's warehouse. Then on May 24th, the tracking said that it had been in Georgia since May 9th and that they had tried to schedule delivery a few times and I was refusing delivery. (false information to cover their rear with Purple). I got on the phone with Purple and Manna headquarters at the same time and told them they had one more chance.

They assured me it would be delivered May 31st. Today is May 30th and they have not called to schedule the delivery, so I called again. Now Manna is saying that they searched all of their warehouses and can't find the mattress anywhere.

So, I've waited a month and had a 2500.00 charge on my account for a month and have nothing to show for it. Purple has not been any help through it all, they don't answer emails and I have to call to get to talk to anyone and still no answers and no mattress.

While I don't doubt the experiences others had, my interaction with this company was fine. I ordered a mattress from Brentwood Home, got an email from Manna once they had a ticket for me, got tracking info. . . They had a 4 day window they said they would be delivering, on the first day of that 4 day window the local company called me to schedule the actual delivery itself (Manna is the in-between). The next day the delivery team called me 30 minutes before they showed up. They dropped off my mattress and loaded it onto my bed. All in all it was totally fine. I got a bit nervous reading these reviews but my experience wasn't bad whatsoever.

I guess depending on where you are located manna can have good service. Well my delivery was for the central valley area of California. I didn't worry about shipping time until it was noted to be at the manna warehouse June 15th; thirty minutes from my home. About 3 days passed and I called them. They told me "delivery hasn't picked it up. We'll get on them". I called the next day, same answer. I called purple to contact manna they said "Your order can't be located". Purple inquired about the issue but they have no control over manna or the 3rd party deliverer that manna uses. A week after all of this and still no mattress and no correspondance from them. I was offered a 10% discount from Purple but its not worth not having a mattress. Its July 3rd I reordered. ***

Ordered a Leggett and Platt frame to be delivered by 7-2-2018 It got the wrong bill of lading (I found out later). It came to Phoenix and left for New Jersey, went to Washington DC and is now in Colombus, Ohio. Never use this service! Complained to Leggett and Platt and the company I bought the frame from. Why do they use this shipping company with such bad reviews?!!!!! Had I known I would have requested a different delivery service. I will call Leggett and Platt to let them know. I have called the company I bought from and they will also follow up. Too bad its now too late to do anything about this whole mess!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Took four appointments to finally get my dishwasher delivered. Always blamed reason to reset appointment on no technicians available (wouldn’t you increase your pool of technicians) Better yet, based on the technician that came, increase fee you would pay? Our technician was very unprofessional, didn’t have tools needed for installation. Top it all off with this technician damaged dishwasher, now we have to see what will be done, with the three companies involved, to replace this unit. Here’s to another extended time without a dishwasher. I would avoid this company of non-caring people at all costs. Classic example of companies dealing with the cheapest bid, reguardless of reputation.

After finding out who was delivering my mattress i seen all these bad reviews and was terrified about the service i was about to receive. Tracking the shipment online it said my item would arrive between the 21st through the 26th of june well it arrived a day early on the 20th the gentlemen called 30min before arrival and was on time. They were extremely polite, removed my old mattress boxspring and assembled my new new bed and even moved it around the room till i was happy with the placement. I couldn't of been more happy with them or the service i received. Please keep in mind most people dont want to review the good and only the bad and yes some people have had bad service but in the Birmingham area the guys were amazing Like

Purple Mattress - Manna Sucks

Purple Mattress uses Manna for their white glove delivery service, so far a miserable experience. Purple's SLA is 24-48 hours to schedule a delivery.

Today is Friday, May 25th and my mattress arrived in Houston on Tuesday, May 22nd at 7:16 am. I can't speak for other US cities or regions, but in Houston Manna is not the delivery company, just the freight forwarder. I've been calling both Manna and Purple daily since Tuesday, May 22nd requesting delivery scheduling status. The local delivery company that Manna has contracted (Hot Shot) did not pick up my mattress until Friday am; 74 hours, missing the SLA.

Although I have requested expedited delivery, as of Friday evening I have not been contacted. and no proactive response. I've been told I will hear from the delivery company 'possibly' by early next week to schedule. Purple Mattress ..

you 'white glove' delivery service SUCKS!!!

Purple has no control over Manna and was no help in my attempts to expedite. Not sure if Mattress Firm owns their own logistics, but Purple using Manna is CRAP!

Purple Mattress lost a sale because of how inept Manna is as a company. Purchased a bed on April 10, receiving an email from Manna that my delivery date would be April 16.

On April 13, I received an email from Manna explaining that they do not have the bed yet because Purple delayed shipping. And, on the same message from Manna, they asked me to call them to reschedule. So, the same day I call Manna, and their CSR was extremely rude. When I told them the reason for my call.

CSR stated "well, there's nothing to reschedule, we don't have to bed..." I said, "right, but you called me to reschedu..." CSR stated, "well, we don't have the bed, so we can't reschedule..." Then, I emailed Manna and inquired. Manna told me that I should receive a call mid week of April 16, and if not I should call them. I did not call them, because YOU'RE supposed to call me. That's not how customer service works.

But, be that as it may, of course Manna NEVER contacted me that week. Then, on April 25, Purple CSR calls me and asks if I received my bed yet, and I told them no. Purple calls Manna and then Purple tells me, "oh, Manna said they sent you multiple emails and called you but you never responded. And, that YOU said you wanted a delivery date of May 8 because you were busy." *** Also, if I never responded, how did I ask for a May 8th delivery?

I told Purple that Manna was lying. So Purple helped me with Manna and Purple CSR told me that Manna would call me on April 25 to reschedule an earlier date. Guess what? Manna again, did not call me.

At this point, I did not trust Manna to do anything right, considering I also needed proof of insurance from Manna to even enter my building, and they could not provide me with that. I cancelled Purple's order detailing how inept Manna was and that they should really consider doing business with another courier service. Interestingly, after I express my strong displeasure with Manna to Purple, Manna calls me 5 minutes after I get off the phone with Purple.

Yeah, too little too late. The Manna CSR who called me didn't even feign sympathy or seem apologetic.

Dont do it!

DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT by any means use this company. If the place you purchased the item from uses them, request another "white glove" service. I paid about 2,500$ for a mattress to be delivered, my old mattress to be taken out of the apartment and taken off the property to be thrown away.

INSTEAD, they deliver the mattress, leave all of the boxes in my apartment, then wait for it, leave the mattress IN the loading dock. They literally just said screw this and left it in the loading dock.

I receive a call from my building telling me it needs to go, so I call the company I bought it from and they reached out to Mike the Shipping Rep at Manna here in NOVA and he tells them that he will "call me", turns out he said this just to get rid of the company and myself from bothering him. 8pm rolls around, nothing, I call back the mattress company and Mike says something along the lines of he will "call me tomorrow morning, he is off work."

Clearly, this is nothing new considering the 1.2 stars on Yelp, (hopefully 1 with my review) Guys, take it from me, its not worth the hassle. Now I have to figure out how to rid of a mattress in a loading dock with no vehicle to do so, pray I don't get fined, and find a place to drop the mattress off.

You've been warned!!!

White glove delivery is a complete joke

Took them over 3 weeks to deliver a tv. White glove service is a joke. Two delivery guys managed to hit and break 3 walkway lights that are maybe 12 inches off the ground. The tv does not weigh more than 70 pounds so it should not have been that difficult for two men to avoid hitting 1 out of every three lights they walked past. They did not care whatsoever. They just put the box in the living room and asked me to sign. I had to remind them to open it up so i can inspect. All they did was take off the outer box and refused to open up the package itself.
