Canceling tickets at short notice Flight CPT to BFN 7 December 2020

Cancel flight without explanation on very short notice, not offering alternative options, no mention of voucher or refund. No after hours customer care tele no to assist customers. Mango don't care about customers, they must remember customers pay their salaries and keep them flying, so bad experience, they cancel flights at short notice and to get your refund is another story, MANGO do not care MANGO must FALL!

I have tried to call your company for 2 weeks with no answer, they are always busy, waiting from 10 to 15 minutes on the phome

I had tickets from Durban 11 December to Jo burg -booked in March, as I was traveling to BALI, due to covid this trip was cancelled by STA TRAVELS, who has closed down. I sent many emails-asking if I can get vouchers-answers -was no, I can exchange the dates. I asked if I could give this to my children-answer was -no. I did this on line-as once I could not get through your company, to change the return date, as I am now forced to use these tickets NOW THE MONEY IS TAKEN OUT FROM MY ACCOUNT-AND I DONT HAVE THE RETURN DATE. I am lost and don't know what to do.

User's recommendation: Have a number that we can get thru. Due to covid-why must i now pay extra to change my dates of travel.

I changed my ticket, Mango took the money, but did not change it

Mango cannot be contacted. Does not answer any phone, nor e-mail. Must I assume they are closed/ bankrupt and stole my money in the process.

User's recommendation: Stay away from Mango and SAA- bad news.

No help , been contacting them since Thursday , and no answer from any of the given number.

Reason for this is because I have been phoning since Thursday and all the AGENTS are busy, but does not make sense to me that all the agents are busy for almost 2 weeks in a row. All I want to do is change my flight dates. I phoned customer care they don't even answer, and when they do the agents tells me they will get back to me, and I am currently still waiting on a reply /phone call.

User's recommendation: DO NOT FLY WITH THEM!!! NO HELP WHEN IN NEED OF.

Unethical behavior

Me and my wife went to South Africa for my honeymoon, and bought a flight ticket with Mango to go from OR Tambo to Port Elizabeth. I've bought it back in February 15. The flight was scheduled to July 16 at 5 PM. We arrived at the airport at 2 PM, and came to check-in. There we were told that the flight was changed to 1:15 PM, so it was already gone! Talking to their supervisor (I think it was Nonhle) she said that they sent me and my wife an email telling that, but neither of us got it. I've told them to forward me that email, so I could see it with the time it was sent, but they didn't do that. They said they could sent us on next day's flight, but we would need to pay most part of the value anyways + hotel + food. As we planned our whole trip in advance, we already had a car rented in Port Elizabeth, and also a hotel booked there. After all that, we ended up getting a car in Johannesburg, drive until Bloemfontein, get a new hotel there, and then drive on next day right to Plattenberg Bay, as it was our next booked hotel after Port Elizabeth. A big cost due to this Mango problem. Honestly I believe that errors happens. What got me mad there was the situation where they didn't want to assume their mistake, and made me pay for all that - after all, I needed to pay for the car fuel (thanks Hertz for allowing us to get the car we rented for Port Elizabeth in Johannesburg), the already booked hotel, the new hotel... And also the flight tickets that we already paid previously! I expected more from a company with good reviews all over the Internet.

Mango Airlines South Africa Received payment but no booking confirmation

I have traveled with Mango since their inception and i wonder if this is how they treat their loyal passengers? I paid R1650.50 for my son and i for two tickets on the 13:15 flight to Cape Town for the 6th of November. the payment was processed through their SID link on their website and i received a notification from my bank to say that the money had been paid into the mango account. how ever The SID screen closed suddenly with an error message and redirected me back to their Flymango website which asked for payment AGAIN! I cannot understand this. My son has to be in Capetown tomorrow evening by all means and i will NOT jeopardize his health due to this airline's incompetence. what makes matters worse is that i stayed on the line for 33 minutes and could not get an answer or booking confirmation. This is ridiculous.. I may see you guys in court soon because this is unacceptable.
