Terrible communication

I saw the brochure about Mandarin Oriental Lake Como showing a beautiful arch with a lot of chairs and advertising it as a wedding venue. I booked three nights at approximately $6000 to stay there and get married there.

I was told by guest relations that since my party is small, they didn't want to reserve the area for me ahead of time. I had to wait until closer to the date. We are weeks out from the date, and now they will not let me get married at this area unfortunately, with no explanation. If it was booked or being used by someone else, I completely understand, but they keep quoting me a hotel policy that you can't take pictures on the resort, and I can't get a straight answer as to why I can't pay them to use this area for 30 minutes for a small ceremony for myself, my wife, the photographer, videographer, and official.

It seems like a very small request. We're flexible on the timeframe and wouldn't bother any other guests; I just want an answer, and I can't get it. I get a generic answer.

They won't give me the hotel manager's name to communicate with him. They refuse to give me his contact information.

Preferred solution: All I want is explanation why I can’t use the space. Certainly it would be great if they would allow me to use the space.

I would assume they are more focused on larger parties because that is where they make their real money. Good luck to you wherever you have your ceremony.

They have no idea how big my party would be they won’t even address the request, it’s pretty frustrating

Complaint bad customer service Valentina reservations

Gabby kept referring me and didnt want to help and every time he referred me to reservations Valentina wouldnt help by ending the phone call to my face 3-4 times in a row. I called back gabby again by pressing 0 and he still kept referring me.

Please allow me some compensation so I can get a room and I dont have to worry about these attitudes.

I dont know if theyre jealous. Nor do I know if they just dont care about their jobs with all due respect.
