Mandarin Gourmet - The food quality

We visited this restaurant as part of a tour group, so unfortunately we did not have much choice about where to eat.

This is a buffet restaurant, but we were very disappointed with the quality of the food, especially considering the price. Some of the oranges in the fruit section were already spoiled, which was very unpleasant to see.

There was also crawfish, but they were extremely small and had almost no meat in the tails.

One person at our table filled a plate with them, but after eating just a few, gave up because there was simply not enough meat to make it worthwhile.

Overall, the dishes seemed to be prepared rather carelessly, and we did not feel the food quality matched the price. The food was also heavily seasoned with soy sauce, which made many of the dishes taste overly salty and unappealing.

If I had a choice, I would not have chosen this restaurant.

The restaurant itself feels quite old and dated, and the food did not look appetizing to me.

Unfortunately, this was not a dining experience we would choose to repeat. Everyone need pay attention for the food.

Loss:
$20
Cons:
  • And too much soy sauce
  • Bad fruit

Preferred solution: Price reduction

User's recommendation: pay more attention to the food in there
