Is Managingmodels.com a scam
Hi. I applied online to various model agency’s for my 2 kids and this company got back to me wanting to arrange a free test shoot. So we arranged a date and time when we arrived there was a number of people there and we overheard them saying we will be back next sat for another shoot. All seems legit. Anyways the kids had there test shoot done and we were told a decision would be made that day if they showed good potential. We were told to go out for some food as it would take around 2hrs. Gets back the women Aimee who was the head of the place said she sent the photos straight out as they had looked at them and were over the moon with the test shoot. They received 2 agency’s back straight away that wanted to give them a 1 year contract 1 is a 1 that rylan Clarke owns and anther called http://www.totaltalentmanagement.uk.com/. They then said we needed a portfolio and the test shoot they done was perfect. So have us option of a portfolio with them. So we paid £399 for that, we got a cd with them in a lower resolution on the day and were told we would get the high res in the post. (Only done the shoot 2 days ago so no CD in the post as of yet) we felt a little pressured into it and it all sounded amazing as we hadn’t done anything like this before. Now we are thinking it’s all a bit much and reading things online seems to point to we’ve been scammed. The agency http://www.totaltalentmanagement.uk.com/ got in touch the next day and it says we need to have an appointment with them so I booked a date they sent it through and on it it says we need to take the portfolio and it’s £99 each for admin fees. I’ve since canceled it as it’s making me more causcious about the whole thing. Any advice would be amazing. Thank you and sorry for the long *** post.

Scam. Avoid
I applied to an ad from them with a photo of my face only, got a call a few days later (after easer weekend) saying they liked the photo could I come in for a test shoot. Ivey never tried my hand at modelling before so was totally clueless. My mother warned me its most likely a scam, which I didn't actually believe, then I done some research into their site. The ip is based in France. This is supposedly a London company. It's a 'legal' scam. You go in, have the shoot and then that's where the sting comes in when they try to charge you a fortune. So I sent a text to the person, whom I wasn't even informed of their name, asking how much I should expect to pay if I should want any of the photographs. Their reply was I will find out everything on the day.. I my be being petty but this is what causally originally aroused so much suspicion in the beginning, but the text messages I received had absolutely no grammar use. It was written very abruptly but not informative at all. It all just has way too many red flags in my opinion. An honest company would surely tell you how it works before you turn up 'on the day' Luckily I realised this before I wasted my time with them. I don't usually write reviews but if eel this needs to be told, even if I can stop one person being scammed in this way (and there are lots of companies just the sme. Research it on google.) Beware!!!!! www.managingmodels.com XoX
