Malak Jewelers
Rude Customer Service from Appraiser and staff at Malak Jewelers Tyson's Corner Mall
My Fiance and I happend to have her wedding ring set with us since I was to get it appraised for insurance purposes. Noticed Malak Jewelers at the Tyson's Mall had appraising advertisment and the appraiser was available. Well, he shows up in a rude manner as if we didn't know what we were there for. He didn't introduce himself, or said welcome...nothing.
I asked for his credentials if they were from GIA or AGS. He was GIA, but his pompous response and his lack of candor is what made me not want to do business with him. At that point I didn't care if he was the main guy of GIA, he killed it from the moment he opened his mouth. I do not recommend buying anything from this store at Tyson's Corner Mall that is located at Tysons Corner VA.
You want quality people that will not only be courteous, but be helpful to your. The staff that work there were of poor quality as well. If you want good customer service, go to Helzberg Jewlers; They are accredited by AGS.
Also, if you are looking into getting your jewelry appraised, go to the AGS website for accredited appraisers that AGS validates.

My fiancé had an idea of the ring he wanted to give me when he proposed. Sam at Malak jewelers helped him bring his idea to life.
After he popped the question, at Rome, he could not stop talking about his vision and how fantastic Sam at Malak jewelers is. He couldn't wait for me to meet him so I did the day after we got back to town. I was forewarned about the security at the doors but I can't help but agree the security made me feel more at ease.
We went back to see Sam and Mr Malak for our wedding bands and it was so easy.
They took the design for my engagement ring and created a beautiful wedding band for my fiancé.
I can't wait til the rings come in.
Thanks Sam and Mr Malak we feel like we have a new friends.
**"In Rome" not "at Rome"
Also, seems kinda weird that your fiancé "couldn't wait for you to meet" some guys at a jewelry store and he couldn't stop talking about them and his vision while you guys were "at Rome". Then the day after you get back your man drags you to their store! I wouldn't rush into anything if I were you......
