I ordered a compression garment, two day shipping and it took 7 days to receive. I paid for two day shipping. I asked for a partual refund and they refused to refund any money. I will never use this company again. Also, their garments are over priced and cheaply made

I also bought several item from makemeheal and waited 17 days to receive it! When I asked for shipping cost refund, they refused, but later paid me back the shipping.

They told me: now we hope you are happy...

Returning an item and treatment from a supervisor

I ordered an outfit I didn't want zippers. Item did not fit. Tried to do web return had trouble so I called a representative to the company. She gave me return and I ordered the correct one. I didn't have out fit past my thighs. I put it in its case paid postage returned it after a death in our family. I received a letter saying it was stretched, soiled and worn. I said if I could wear it why order another one. She said no to return. Poor business and customer service. They couldn't show me where it was soiled and they showed 5 pcs of small hair which I can say did not come from my area I wax and I never try on outfits with no underwear on. Sure it looked wrinkled because I couldn't fold it like they did.

Bra 5 sizes too small, took over month to get refund, out $12 shipping both ways

Make Me Heal - Bra 5 sizes too small, took over month to get refund, out $12 shipping both ways
I recently purchased a bra from Makemeheal.com. It measured several sizes too small. I am a corset and lingerie designer by trade, so I am very familiar with how to measure garments and bodies. The size chart says the bra will fit someone with an underbust measuring 28"- 30". The underbust measured 23", a full 5" smaller than advertised! Anyone who has ever has breast surgery knows that it is very dangerous to wear a bra that is even 1/2" too tight around the band (it can lead to ulceration of the skin), much less 5". It took weeks for Makemeheal to respond to my request to return the item, and over a month to eventually refund the purchase amount, less $6.99 shipping. I had to pay $5.05 to return the bra. I have asked them numerous times to refund my shipping both ways because the product was misrepresented. I even sent them photos of the bra being measured to prove it was 5 sizes smaller than advertised. I am out $12, and had to go buy a bra after surgery while I was supposed to be home in recovery. Makemeheal.com has the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I have wasted hours trying to get them to do the right thing and refund my shipping. They have made no attempts to change the product info or size charts on their site either, which means anyone else who buys that bra will also be cheated. I'm disgusted.

Customer service rep Aimee (in charge of customer service) very sarcastic and rude

I ordered 2 compression bras prior to breast reduction. They were ordered so I would have them prior to surgery. They arrived on the day of surgery. I spoke/e-mailed my measurements to assure proper size. When received one was too big. I called number listed on a Friday 45 minutes prior to end of their business day and left message. No response. Waited until Monday when they open 11am EST .. Left another message... Received a call back at 2pm EST. explaining returning and getting proper size and/or refund. "Aimee" said I would have to pay for returning and that It is my problem if garment is wrong size due to ordering over phone. I mentioned another company I ordered bras from came on time and they sent me return pre-paid label and no hassle (marena). Aimee had NO interest in trying in a any way/shape/form to help me by any means. So BUYER BEWARE ... I would suggest a more friendly company to do business with based solely on the "customer service" experience ... This is the reason some companies like Eddie Bauer stay in business ... CUSTOMER SERVICE ... Aimee also would not give me the name of her manager or person in charge... VERY RUDE indeed..

Review from Toronto, Ontario

I got suckered. I ordered online. & found the right garment (medium) while waiting for one to be delivered from Make Me Heal. When I arrived I took it out checked it out, and put it back in the package. I called about returning it since a small wouldn't have fit anyways. I sent I back paying the $20 postal charges & then they said the garment was stained & smelled. Total B.S. I called. Emailed. They are unable to provide pictures. Now they ignore me. Order wisely because their return policy and practices are are a perfect example of corporate neglect.

Bad Business Practice

I purchased a "refurbished" compression garment for my recovery post-abdominoplasty surgery. I ordered it to be delivered 2-day air, which did arrive in a timely manner. When I opened the packaging, it was clear that the item was "worn" and not refurbished. However, the main problem was that I could barely get the garment on as it was clearly sized too small despite me measuring my waist/hips and being within the size range I ordered. The garment was so tight that literally I had difficulty breathing. I didn't think it would be a problem to return to get a store credit to purchase something that would work better for me. I did not want a refund, just a credit. I called customer service and before I could even explain my situation, the phone representative cut me off and said, "refurbished products are non-refundable". I explained I fit within the size range for all body measurements and yet the garment was sized inappropriately. Again, I continued with my explanation and really no matter how reasonable my argument was, she continued to essentially argue with me, a customer. The item is unusable, in fact even harmful to my health since I can't breathe fully with the garment on and makemeheal.com offered absolutely no assistance. I was forced to not wear a pair of biker shorts, which were unsuitable, and wait for an acceptable item to be delivered form a competitor. Makemeheal.com needs to learn how to accommodate their customers and to hire some individuals that have "people" and customer service skills.

I've ordered from them twice, always great service. If you read the information on the website you would have known that refurbished items were not returnable. Not the companies fault if you don't read and understand the polices before you buy.

One day shipping that never happened

I ordered a product from Make Me Heal online in an emergency situation after a surgery for my daughter. In my haste, I ordered one day shipping ($25) on a Thursday night, not realizing it would not get to me until Monday, which was too late. E-mailed company on Saturday, but of course, no one responded and when I checked tracking of item I knew it would not get to me until Monday. I spoke with them on Monday and they said it was not their fault, that I should know one day shipping is business days only. I only asked them to pay for return shipment ($10) because we could not use the product and I felt their website did not clearly state their shipping terms. Also, as stated on their website,"An important part of our work at Make Me Heal is to bring back the human element in relationships and interactions between businesses and consumers. At Make Me Heal, you're not a consumer...You're a friend. As a friend, you should be able to freely reach us with ease". Easy to reach, but not a friend. They would not help at all and said they were a very successful company, and basically did not need my business.
