PLEASE read reviews before doing business with these people!

PLEASE do NOT do business with this company! It will be your worst nightmare!! The few good reviews on here are probably relatives or friends. I am not the type to take the time to do a bad review but I felt it would be the right thing to do so that I can avoid others from going through the nightmare that I went through. I have been dealing with them since August 2018 and initially Javier, the manager, made it sound like an exchange of the dining set that I had requested would happen. He told me to send an email out to request the exchange and the reason for it. I did. He said it will be arriving in the next 2 weeks. Two weeks passed by and nothing. More weeks passed by and still no exchange. I kept calling on a weekly basis and Javier was not too happy about that and got upset when I was expressing my frustration that we both on one occasion got into a screaming match over the phone and mind you, this is the manager, and he told me that he didnt have to do the exchange if he didnt want to and was just awfully rude and unprofessional. More weeks passed by and still nothing so I decided to be the bigger person by apologizing for the way I reacted. I was hoping I could ease things out since I didnt want him to give me a hard time with the exchange. He then sounded nice the next time I talked to him on the phone and he told me he would contact me once the dining set arrived. More weeks passed by and still no exchange. I would call and same excuse or a different story. Then my calls at one point werent being picked up oh and my messages would NEVER be returned so I decided to just show up in person in December 2018. Javier now tells me that he is not going to have his staff travel to pick up just one order (my order) because of the cost so he advised for me to wait until January 2019 because that is when people get their income and people tend to buy furniture during that time. I had to wait for them to have more orders from customers in order for the exchange to happen?! it was mind blogging but again, I remained patient and left the store without an argument. January 2019 and still no exchange. I would be told they would get back to me but of course they wouldnt. Then I spoke w/Gilbert who confirmed that it usually doesnt take that long for an exchange to happen and he confirmed that they offer a one time courtesy to do an exchange if the customer is not satisfied with the purchase. He also said that he didnt know why they havent picked up the dining set since they have gone several times and have picked up other deliveries. He said he would check with Javier and get back with me. He never called me back. Fast forward February 2019, I call and speak with Javiers son, Aldo, who tells me he will follow up on it. He calls me back after 15 minutes and tells me that he just got off the phone with Crownmarke, the company that distributes the dining set that I ordered it from, and that he was informed that the exchange wasnt going to be accepted anymore. I did not believe him so I asked him to give me the phone number to the company and he said that they dont talk directly to customers but in the end he proceeded to give me their phone number. I called the company and spoke with a lady who stated that Aldo has NOT called them and that Marisol is the one that takes care of their account and she said that she has NOT spoken to Aldo!! another lie now from the son of the manager. The lady asked for the DATE the order for the exchange was placed. ALL I NEEDED from Aldo was the DATE and he didnt have that information so he told me he would call me back but instead I get this text:: "I am not allowed to give or show the document since it does have information of our store. All I can send you is your invoice. That being said from what I was told from the company and what Javier is letting me know we wont be able to exchange the item. We do apologize and we appreciate your patience". Patience?! it took six months of me dealing with them and then in the end for them to end the lies & games with a text?! this company is a joke!

Terrible People, Terrible Store!!!!!

Javier Rios is the sole owner of this horrendous store. I ordered a 4-piece entertainment center. Two of the pieces came broken. They left the pieces there (with wood chips all over the ground) and came back the next week to replace them. The delivery window was between 8am and 10pm! I literally had to sit at home next to my phone all day. When they finally arrived at 8pm, one of the pieces was actually more broken than the one I already had. Again, I had to schedule them to come back for a 3rd time to try and deliver furniture that's not broken. The third time they finally delivered the furniture right, but the guys built the entertainment center COMPLETELY WRONG. Mind you these are his sons so Javier Rios didn't care for their neglect. There are pieces upside down and screws missing all over. They also damaged some of the pieces because they don't know how to build the furniture. Not only that, but they damaged my walls to the point where I have to have someone come out and repair them. Worst furniture buying experience I could possibly imagine. I called and told Javier Rios what happened and i have been ignored for weeks. I will be putting in my word with BBB!!!! STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!! THAY ARE LOCATED AT 2200 NW Loop 410. the more reviews I read, the more mad I get for what Javier has done to all of us. I posted my experience as well and on Google he took the time to respond but he was busted in a lot of lies. I didnt go without a fight so I responded back to him and since he knew he was caught in a bunch of lies all he responded to my 2nd post was that he can refund it but why would I want to deal with them to get a refund that I know will never happen?!

San Antonio scams and cheats: Juan Javier Rios (Furniture Store Owner)

I'd like to report that this furniture dealer in San Antonio scams and cheats people and still doing his business without caring about law and order. He runs multiple businesses but engages in contract breach and fraud by stealing money from customers. His name is Juan Javier Rios and he runs multiple companies as shown below: Majestic Furnishing Distribution TEXAS AMERICAS DREAM FINANCIAL SERVICES CORPORATION MYC INVESTMENTS CORPORATION AMERICAN DREAM FINIC AMERICA S DREAM FINANCIAL America's Furniture Distribution I did business with him for company: America's Furniture Distribution and his way of cheating is that he takes full advance on an order and delivers only partial order and keep telling its customers that order will take time, its delayed. he keeps doing this for months till customer gets frustated and leaves him alone. when you ask about money, he asks to contact his laweyer and go to court. which i ended up doing. He thinks most people will not spend money on lawyers so its a win - win situation. And if you do go to court, he never shows up or responds. which happened in my case and i got default judgement against him but i still can't recover my money as he does not respond to any calls or does not care about default judgement. he does not keep any money on his personal or company account so there is no way to claim it. he keep closing companies and opening new ones to show that his company is closed and he does not owe anything.

I wish I would of known this before I purchased a dining set but lesson learned. I have posted my experience in any site I am able to warn people.


He did the same thing to me. He also has a record in Bakersfield california where he plead guilty to 14 counts of fraud and was locked up. Juan Javier Rios Bakersfield california google him.
