I JUST CAN'T IMAGINE HOW THIS CLOWN IS STILL IN BUSINESS. HIS PRACTICES ARE POOR IN QUALITY AND TASTE..
HE IS A ONE MAN TRAVELING CIRCUS ACT WHICH HE THINKS THAT HE IS THE RING MASTER..A REAL KNOW IT ALL AND A GREAT MASTER OF DECEPTION WHEN IT COMES TO HIS BILLING PRACTICES..
NEVER QUESTION HIS WORK.. OR HIS BILLING METHODS.. HE WILL ONLY SHOW YOU WHAT A TOTAL UNPROFESSIONAL BUFFOON THAT HE REALLY IS..
FORGET OF HIM EVER HAVING ANY EMPLOYEES.. NO ONE CAN EVER WORK FOR HIM..DUE TO HIS ARROGANT PUNK *** ATTITUDE..

I SHOULD KNOW AND AM WELL INFORMED.. I PAID THIS COMPANY $1000S OF DOLLARS TO ONLY FIND OUT I WAS BEING SCAMMED OUT OF $100S OF DOLLARS IN INVOICES NOT REFLECTING A TRUE ACCURATE ACCOUNTING OF LABOR ON THE JOB.. WHEN QUESTIONED.. HE WILL STATE THAT HE KEEPS NO COMPANY LABOR TIME RECORDS.. > WHICH SOUNDS A LITTLE FISHY TO ME..
I HELPED THIS GUY WHEN HE CAME INTO TOWN.. "PROBABLY FLEEING FROM UP NORTH".. GAVE HIM STEADY WORK.. PAID HIM $$$$$$$$$$$$S ABOVE WHAT HE IS REALLY ACTUALLY WORTH AS A WELDER.. AND HAD TO PART WAYS DUE TO UNWARRANTED BILLING MALFUNCTION ON HIS END..THAT WAS NEVER RESOLVED..AND HANDLED VERY UNPROFESSIONALLY BY MIKE..
I, AS A SMALL BUSINESS OWNER, FELL VICTIM .. BE INFORMED NOW..
DON'T TAKE ANOTHER TRIP TO COLLEGE LIKE I HAVE WITH THIS COMPANY.. JUST MAKE SURE TO QUESTION ALL BILLS.. DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE TO PAY HIM UNLESS THE JOB IS COMPLETED AND YOU HAVE REVIEWED THE WORK AND THE BILLING STATEMENT THOROUGHLY.. I SURE WISH I HAD DONE SO..

I have worked with Mike in the past over at Andy's place and can tell you first hand he is not the problem. His work is second to none.
I have worked in the field long time and been around many welders and mechanics that don't measure up to him.
Glad to see he moved on, much better off. As for Andy, some things will never change...
I am certain that The welder that Andy has worked over 20 years with Andy can weld circles around both of you.. So stop :cry
Just move on.. I am sure Andy doesn't even remember Of or about "either of you" at this point in life..

Mainland did in error over bill by three hours on a final invoice to Andy's truck and when brought to our attention, it was corrected immediately. It's was at this time I was told that payment would be held until an " internal investigation on all past invoices be conducted by his staff" Weeks later he e mailed me and told me several invoices were incorrect and "over billing" was a crime.
I asked Andy to provide me with copies of all invoice in question for review, He declined and told me it was handed over to his attorney and out of his hands. No more communications between you and I will be necessary. I found this to be odd, but ok. Well weeks went by and no work from his attorney.
I did receive a letter from Andy only after threatening collections that stated.... He had to "Re Work a job and the past due balance owed to Mainland Welding would wash the difference for repairs, and if I felt he still owed me money, to make an appointment with his Secretary to see Him. I laugh to myself thinking if he were to fall off is pedestal, it would be next year before he hits the ground. Mind you, this is 2 months after he received this invoice.
All the work I've done for this company in the past with no problems and the last job, there's an issue. Smells real bad!!
In response to the above prayer from mainland welding.. "those whom live in glass houses thou NOT throw stones"..
I believe after reading the above comment from mainland president in "chief" you can only feel the deep rooted hate towards another business owner that gave him 6 months.... of full time work.. in very hard times..and paid him accordingly..
IN FACT..What does 2 employees that quit to pursue other employment else-where have to do with anything? We live in a free country..people can do what they want..the company is still here and it has made no differnce...other than Not having to pay any-longer for any of their re-work..
FYI- The Same company has SEVERAL other employees that have worked there for over 10.12.18 years!!!!
I will tell you what has upset mainland weldings president..mike.. its the ACCURATE FOLLOW-UP REVIEW that he has recieved on his Own company to the one that he had previously posted of a now obvious competitor..on this same parasite of a website..and NOW must deal with it..
SO.. with that said.. there was no vintication done here..only a independant review of my personal experiences with this companies owner and business tactics..which if you do get on the wrong side of his invoice.. his Mr nice guy persona quickly vanishes.. and the real slim shady comes out..I can fully atest to that fact..
Besides..Mainland welding started up in business it seems like yesterday? BUT..is also a company that has taken a 1st position to slander a competitor that been in business since 1967.. and a company that he himself has drawn from the well $$ from many times..A company that has also punched out fabrication work for over many decades and serviced 10s of 1000s of clients..WELL BEFORE MAINLAND WELDING ROLLED INTO TOWN AND POPPED UP A TENT..
Maybe the next time mainland welding wants to comment on another competitors business.."WITHOUT WARRANT".. they may want to choose to use a different location than "palm city" to post from.. and the above comments and "location" only affirmed MAINLANDS previous actions on this unscrupulous *** web-site that only airs the 1 side of a 3 sided story..

The Original thread WAS factual.. AS for I taking advantage of mainland? be your own judge.. just pay him in trust and find out for yourself..
LIVE AND LET LIVE HAS ALWAYS BEEN MY PLAN IN LIFE AND BUSINESS..I DID LET IT GO.. Its a real shame that all of this MUD SLINGING has transpired..but for every action in life a reaction usually will follow..

This is a complete fabrication. Yes, Jesus "Andy" gave me some work when I moved to south Fl to be closer to family, certainly not fleeing as he indicates. The truth of the matter is he was taking complete advantage of myself and skills because of the current economy, and sure I was not the only one. What he forgets to mention is the fact that when his hydraulic tech got fed up with his *** and left, I gave him the benefit of the doubt and filled in for him as well as continued my welding. Well not long after that, his mechanic got fed up and quit also. I should have seen this as a warning sign but no, I filled in for him as well. Now I'm not only fabricating and welding his trucks, I'm installing pto's, drive axles, brakes, rebuilding hydraulic cylinders and completely hosing multi zone hydraulic systems, for half the price of what a subcontract welder should be getting paid, oh ya, and if this ain't enough, I'm doing all of this with my own tools.
This man thinks his money makes him better than the rest of us, better off, maybe but certainly not better!!
It's funny, you can search the Internet high and low for bad things about my company and this is all you'll find but You will see plenty of good things. Just proof of his vindictive personality. My work is to the highest standards, aws certified, x ray quality and by the book. In just one year, I've built a small business anyone would be proud off and it's only getting better. My work speaks for it's self and my customers are more than satisfied. I am one of the few fabricators that don't require any deposit for custom work and payment is only after your 100% happy with my work or product. Sound like a traveling circus to you, Hardly.
