I am an extended stay guest at the Magnuson hotel on 5/24/2023 management sent a letter that was very discrimitory in nature singling out extended stay guests. The difference being extended stay pay less so keep that in mind. They want us to sign it stating ONLY extended stay guests can not and will not use their ammenities ever and various other rules and regulations such as charging for toilet paper etc. They gave one bogus reason claiming overcrowding, which doesn't even make sense. This is a 2- star hotel that is usually pretty vacant. I can assure you overcrowding is not the issue and if by some rare chance it were shouldn't it come in to play then? No rules or agreements were broken to initiate this. It is extremely obvious that they view extended stay guests as a nuisance and are trying to inconvenience us as much as possible by setting these unrealistic yet oddly specific rules so they have a reason to terminate certain guests. It is very apparent they do not respect or hold extended stay guests in the same regard or feel we deserve the same level of service , the same guests that keep this hotel running in the winter and off season. I was originally a short term guest and once I switched to extended stay they moved us into the dilapidated, outdated, rundown, infested, dirty extended stay building that is in a much more significant state of diteriatoion than other buildings and I am sure is in violation of many building codes and wouldn't pass an inspection. I'm trying to find out if this violates any consumer protection rights or discrimination laws. I'm sick of getting treated like *** because I'm broke.

My friend was banded from the hotel from some activity that happened in July. I new nothing of whatever happened. I was only there 30 minutes and than the police showed up she had to leave fine, but why was I asked to leave I asked for my money back the night employee said there is no refunds! I was tired and that was all the money I had left!

A disturb employee fabrication info in the computer years ago,I had no knowledge of until a few days previously...
I was told by the manager Ms. Elizabeth that I wasn't allowed to check out a room because I smoked in the room,years ago when I stayed. I never smoked in the room & I never was confronted that I smoked in the room.Some one fabricated something ..

THE HOTEL OWNER IS A NASTY, DISTASTEFUL HUMAN BEING. I WAS SO DISSATISFIED AND DISAPPOINTED WITH THE STAY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE ITSELF. THIS HOTEL NEEDS TO BE SHUTDOWN IMMEDIATELY. EMPLOYEES ARE UNDER PAID AND HAS TO PUT UP WITH THE OWNERS BAD TREATMENT AND ATTITUDE. HE DISRESPECTED ME BY CALLING ME OUT MY NAME(BITCH) AS I WAS LEAVING THE PREMISES IN FRONT OF MY MOM. AS A HOTEL THAT SERVES THE PUBLIC TO ANYONE WHO WANTS AND NEEDS TO BE ACCOMMODATED MAKES ME NOT WANT TO EVER IN MY LIFE STAY AT THIS PLACE AGAIN. THE OWNER DOES NOT TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY FOR HIS ACTIONS AND BLAMES OTHER AS A RESULT. I HAVE HIM RECORDED BEING A UGLY NASTY HUMAN BEING.

This place is pitiful!
The hotel needs a complete remodeling. Our room smells stale, the hallway leading up to our room is dark, dirty. The carpet in our room is nasty. The dead baby roach is interesting. Thank GOD our stay is short. Yes we have a t.v. but! NO REMOTE!!! My mother is sleeping with clothes on. Fortunately, we"ll gone by 10:30 am
