Magnuson Hotel

My friend was banded from the hotel from some activity that happened in July. I new nothing of whatever happened. I was only there 30 minutes and than the police showed up she had to leave fine, but why was I asked to leave I asked for my money back the night employee said there is no refunds! I was tired and that was all the money I had left!

I was told by the manager Ms. Elizabeth that I wasn't allowed to check out a room because I smoked in the room,years ago when I stayed. I never smoked in the room & I never was confronted that I smoked in the room.Some one fabricated something ..

The hotel needs a complete remodeling. Our room smells stale, the hallway leading up to our room is dark, dirty. The carpet in our room is nasty. The dead baby roach is interesting. Thank GOD our stay is short. Yes we have a t.v. but! NO REMOTE!!! My mother is sleeping with clothes on. Fortunately, we"ll gone by 10:30 am

THE HOTEL OWNER IS A NASTY, DISTASTEFUL HUMAN BEING. I WAS SO DISSATISFIED AND DISAPPOINTED WITH THE STAY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE ITSELF. THIS HOTEL NEEDS TO BE SHUTDOWN IMMEDIATELY. EMPLOYEES ARE UNDER PAID AND HAS TO PUT UP WITH THE OWNERS BAD TREATMENT AND ATTITUDE. HE DISRESPECTED ME BY CALLING ME OUT MY NAME(BITCH) AS I WAS LEAVING THE PREMISES IN FRONT OF MY MOM. AS A HOTEL THAT SERVES THE PUBLIC TO ANYONE WHO WANTS AND NEEDS TO BE ACCOMMODATED MAKES ME NOT WANT TO EVER IN MY LIFE STAY AT THIS PLACE AGAIN. THE OWNER DOES NOT TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY FOR HIS ACTIONS AND BLAMES OTHER AS A RESULT. I HAVE HIM RECORDED BEING A UGLY NASTY HUMAN BEING.

I am from Detroit I came to Magnuson hotel in DeSoto, Texas to spend time with my mom, so I don't like the way this hotel operates the rugs and wall are dirty it doesn't smell like Pine sol it just ridiculous how they can have this hotel even open I book this hotel till May 8 I'm checking out May 6 instead I will not return to this hotel I wouldn't put my dog in this nasty *** hotel only had one-night stand on the picture it has two

If you are college aged or have a lot of screaming children to entertain, this place is for you. If you're a professional who wants peace and quiet, EVEN ON THE WEEKEND, pay extra and stay somewhere else!!

This hotel was booked through bookings.com I know what you're thinking. Trust me, my lesson is learned. These 3rd party deals suck, I'm sorry I ever did them. Honestly. A glitch caused my request date of June 16 to show up as July 16 because I made the reservation on June 16. (bookings.com denies this...surprise, surprise.) I showed up at the Magnuson hotel. They wanted an extra $15.00 per day for the dog and I didn't accept that. The woman at the counter said she would cancel and the cancellation had to go through bookings.com. Now, when you use bookings.com after the booking is done, you get a confirmation needed email. I didn't confirm it. You get no further emails. So when I received an email from bookings.com that said 'no show' I wondered 'what the?' Magnuson Hotel claims they have no record of cancellation. Why would I show up there on June 16? Again, they claim they have no record of it. I made another reservation on the 16th and stayed there but Magnuson kept my booking there active and charged me for it on July 16th. They claim they have no record of it. They claim they don't know who worked that day. Indian families run these hotels. Of course they know who was on duty that day. PERIOD. Both companies KNOW at the very least, this was an oversight on someone's part. It was their's but since I can't prove it, I guess it's mine. Remember the slogan, 'the customer is always right.'??? Magnuson told me the bookings.com charges the card, they do not. bookings.com told me Magnuson charges the card, they do not. What is clear is they would rather waste your time than give you your money back. Money NOT EARNED. There was no service given. I got nothing from this. Nothing. I run a business. If I give a customer nothing, I expect nothing in return. This is not any capitalism I want to be associated with. This is theft. This is stealing. People go to jail for theft. Are companies people??????? Magnuson Hotel needs to go to jail.
