Still waiting for someone to help me
I have used Priceline several times and up until my most recent attempt at booking through them I havent had any issues. However this week I booked and paid for a room only to be denied checking in by the hotel because I used my digital wallet to pay for the room. The customer service representative for Priceline promised to prioritize my refund as well assuring me that I would see the refund within 24 hours. It has been 3 days now. I will be sure to book directly through hotel websites now.
Beware booking at Magnolia Hotel in Omaha
Beware when booking at this hotel on a pre-paid reservation. I missed the cut-off day by 1 day to cancel with a refund not due to my negligence but due to finding out my daughter s to have surgery and I won't be able to make the trip. Not only did they not try to accommodate refunding a week reservation during the College World Series where they in all likelihood will be sold out the week as they are already for one night, they had no empathy for my situation and made no accommodation at all. If this is how they treat people before they even arrive at their hotel I can not even imagine the service during the stay.
