Completely worthless plan
- - No in-network gastroenterology accepts Magellan Complete Care.
- - Told to use out-of-network providers and obtain a Magellan prior-authorization form.
Haven't been able to find a gastroenterology practice that accepts this Magellan Complete Care (Medicaid Magellan). Have called Virginia Medical Assistance and Magellan and was told every time that I should refer to in network providers.
There are No in network providers. I called every provider on Magellan's website and was told by each one that they do not accept Magellan.
Finally I was told to choose an out of network provider and ask them to send a 'prior authorization request form' asking a nurse at Magellan to authorize the out of network provider. Plus not able to change plans until November.
Preferred solution: let us change health plans or find us a doctor who accepts the insurance
