Horrible Experience at South Kensignton

As a seasoned traveler, I rarely feel compelled to write a review but this experience demands a public warning.
This establishment is the very definition of a tourist trap. From the moment you step in, the atmosphere is grim: a joyless, neglected space that sets the tone for whats to come.
The service? Indifferent at best, verging on apathetic. Not a trace of hospitality or effort to engage.
The food was, frankly, an insult. The carpaccio arrived looking as though it had been hacked with a kitchen knife no seasoning, no finesse, no sauce just raw, lifeless slices on a plate.
Easily the worst Ive ever had. The main course was even more disturbing. A dish so unrecognizable, so devoid of flavor and presentation, that I genuinely questioned whether it was meat at all. If there was a chef in the kitchen, I struggle to understand how such a plate was allowed to leave it.
To cap it off, when I tried to pay with American Express (a common and accepted card across Europe), the managers response was astonishing: The law allows me to do that.
That sentence alone reflects the entire philosophy of the place legal minimums over basic decency.
Truthfully? Youll eat far better at a McDonalds.

They definately shouldn’t. As well as future guests from my Hotel, considering it was our concierge’s recommendation and he was very embarassed when we came back.
