M2SYS has awful customer service

AI Highlights
  • - Bought a $600 fingerprint reader from M2SYS and expected support.
  • - Post-purchase, support was limited and installation took hours on two tries.

My company purchased a $600 fingerprint reader from M2SYS, expecting a certain amount of customer support in setting the device up. The M2SYS salesperson was very friendly and timely in his responses until we completed the purchase, at which point he stopped being helpful and kept suggesting that we refer to documentation when we ran into problems with installation.

The installation was nothing but problems!

We've had to install the software twice, and both times the installation took hours, with minimal amount of support from M2SYS. Whether on the phone or through email, they couldn't offer any helpful solutions to the problems we were running into.

I would suggest buying a device from a company that has better customer service - definitely not M2SYS.

We had the exact same experience! Absolutely no help after the purchase. I question why this is rated as 7.5 out of 10- it should be a rating of 2 out of 10- great 'pre-sales', but terrible post sales experience.
