My husbands mother died on our way to their property and I texted them to ask if we could put the camper in the driveway 1 hour before check in and they said yes BUT when we arrived they told us to LEAVE! I showed them the text and they said that person didnt have the authority to tell us that.

We had to leave the camper early because my husband had to take an emergency flight back to our house and he was the only one who could back it into the driveway.

We did not stay at this property because they told us to leave. They wouldnt give us our money back or our pet fee or the pool heating fee and they kept our deposit and they made 2 unauthorized charges on our card!

Scam Operation Disguised as Vacation Rentals

If you're thinking of booking a vacation rental with Qnique Homes, Luxury Lodging Host LLC, Luxury Lodging PM, Luxury Lodgings LLC, or Umbrella PM Inc. ? STOP. These companies are all part of the same deceptive operation run by Louis Pellegrino and Darko Novakovic.

We stayed at their flagship listing, advertised as a ?luxury resort?

located at 12310 Memorial Highway, Tampa, FL ? also listed as:

"#1 Tampa Waterfront Private Resort, 13BR Sleeps 40+, Heated Pool, Theater"

The listing looked beautiful online. In reality, it was one of the worst, most dangerous properties I?ve ever stepped foot in.

Here?s what we walked into:

Several old, dirty, efficiency apartments patched together, falsely advertised as one luxury home.

A broken, unusable pool and a non-functioning theater.

Exposed electrical wires, moldy ceilings, uneven floors ? it?s a fire hazard and a lawsuit waiting to happen.

A dungeon-like basement room with prison-style bunk beds, no proper ventilation, and a heavy mold odor.

A massive trash pile out front ?

at least 60 large bags, stacked over 6 feet high.

Filthy furniture, stained towels, a foul odor throughout ? the place was completely unsanitary.

We were charged extra for firewood that was never delivered.

Safety? Nonexistent. Cleanliness?

Laughable. Support from the host? Zero.

We tried to resolve the issues directly with the host and platform (VRBO), but received only generic replies and total refusal to take accountability. When we contacted Hillsborough County Code Enforcement, they investigated the property and confirmed it should not be in operation.

This is not a mistake. This is a pattern of bait-and-switch tactics, deception, and total disregard for guest safety and trust.

These people are running a full-blown short-term rental scam and using different business names to dodge bad reviews and legal responsibility.

We had to cut our family vacation short and lost money we?ll likely never recover. But I?m making sure everyone knows what?s going on.

This is hands down the WORST rental experience I've ever had in my life.

These peopleLouis Pellegrino and Darko Novakovicoperate under a maze of company names like Luxury Lodging Host LLC, Luxury Lodging PM, Luxury Lodgings LLC, and Umbrella PM Inc. to deceive customers and dodge accountability. But no matter the name, the scam is the same.

We rented what they claimed was a #1 Tampa Waterfront Private Resort at 12310 Memorial Highway. It was supposed to be luxurious, with a heated pool, theater room, clean accommodations for 40+ people.

What we got was a complete dump.

The resort is just a slapped-together bunch of dirty efficiency apartments.

Pool was broken and unusable.

Theater room? Didnt work.

Place was disgusting stained towels and bedding, moldy ceilings, and a horrendous smell throughout.

There was a tower of garbage bags rotting out frontno joke, at least 60 bags.

Exposed wires, uneven floors, and a terrifying room with concrete bunk beds straight out of a prison.

Paid extra for firewoodnever received a single piece.

We reached out to Luxury Lodging Host, and all they did was dodge, deny, and gaslight. No resolution. No refund.

Zero accountability.

We even had Hillsborough County Code Enforcement confirm the property should NOT be operational due to safety and code violations.

How are they still allowed to run these scams?

They call themselves "Superhosts" on Airbnb and "Premier Hosts" on VRBO, but it's all a front. They're using shell companies and fake branding to keep raking in money from unsuspecting renters. Its a bait-and-switch con, plain and simple. DO NOT TRUST:
