Poor service from a pet sitter

I hired Tracy and her team twice for two week long trips. After the first service timeframe, I was concerned that her visits for my pets weren't long enough for my pets' welfare. I discussed with Tracy and she promised the service would be better on the second service timeframe. On the first day of the second timeframe, I only received one visit (paid for 4 with potential overnight stay) and had to chase the sitter for the second visit. I immediately fired her and made other arrangements for my pets. I asked for a refund and Tracy refused since she is claiming I cancelled at the last minute. I did cancel but it was for lack of service for which I paid for in advance. My pets are too important to have this poor service.
