Disappointing Experience at Miami World Center Service Location (6/21/25)

AI Highlights
  • - No staff; Manny didn't show.
  • - Manny arrived late and argued loudly in Spanish with a coworker; staff unclear.
  • - Sales team was nice and accommodating.

On June 21st, 2025, I attempted to get service at the Miami World Center location, only to find no one available to assist us. We were told that a technician named Manny was scheduled, but he never showed up to work.

Eventually, Israel returned our call and said Manny had just arrived and would only be there for a couple hours.

When we went back, we encountered Manny near the service entrance, where he was loudly arguingin Spanishwith another employee named John or Juan, using inappropriate language. I was there with my kids, and as someone who understands Spanish (being half Cuban), the language and tone were completely unacceptable.

Unfortunately, this wasnt my first negative experience with this location. Ive previously dealt with Mary Ann and Anthony, and conversations with them have consistently left me confusedthey often seem unsure of their own processes. Speaking with Israel was equally frustrating; it felt like trying to communicate with someone who didnt fully understand the issue or how to resolve it.

In fact, a mechanic had to call me directly just to clarify what Israel was trying to say.

Its extremely disappointing to see this level of disorganization and lack of professionalism from a company I invested in. I own shares in LCID and truly regret not going with Tesla instead.

The lack of response from the service center only reinforces the sense that customer concerns dont matter here.

Lucid Motors needs to seriously reevaluate who theyre putting in front of their customers. This is not the standard anyone should acceptespecially from a company positioning itself as a premium EV brand.

However, the Sales team was very nice and accommodating.

User's recommendation: Contact customer care if the incompetents are still there

You’re as dumb as your post makes you sound if you think anyone believes that Tesla was a viable option to Lucid for you as an investment. Lucid’s high was $3.50/share vs.

Tesla’s high of $413/share over the last 12 months.

But hey the good thing about fairy tales is you can make up your own ending. Now go bother Manny while he’s on his break and clutch those pearls over swearing in Spanish that your kids somehow understand.

Horrible Service

  • - -Lucid Air Touring (~$100k) six months.
  • - -Highway flat caused delays; estimates rose from $1,200 to over $6,000; car held a month.

I have had my Lucid Air Touring (sticker price about $100k) for over six months now. About 30 days ago, I was on the highway and got a flat going highway speeds.

The only option was the Lucid delayed. Anyway, the original estimate when the car came in was around $1,200. Then the next day it jumped to over $6,000. Lucid has kept my car hostage for almost a month while my insurance company investigates their outrageous $300/hour labor charges to change a tire, a rim, a couple of sensors, and a cheap plastic undercarriage cover that has fallen off more than once already.

This is AFTER the insurance company has paid out $200 an hour to the same Lucid dealer for service a month ago on other claims from other clients. This is the Lucid in Miami. The Service Manager is Mary Ann Jaramillo, and the Client Advisor is Israel Vazquez.

I will never in my life buy another Lucid again. I also advise nobody to either.

Loss:
$6000

Preferred solution: I want them to release my car.

User's recommendation: Even if you hate Elon, buy a Tesla.
