I contacted Lubys by email and they didn’t even respond back to me! That is poor customer care and service! Preferred solution: Remind the server at that location that he has a job because of us the customer. Being rude and by exaggerating is not part of his server duty's. Or is it ?

the serve wouldnt even listen to me. to order my food.
she would put the entrée in the container and then walk off. I purchased three meals. She would not put my sides inside of each container. She kept putting them in different containers and she would not even give me gravy and I asked her to put gravy over my.
I also called 2717 C Lubys thats where I went. I asked to speak to a manager or a team leader. I answered the phone she was very rude. She told me they was in a meeting and Im gonna have to call back later.
She hung up in my face.. I should not have to pay paid for people being rude to me.

Thanksgiving day of 2023 I went to the LUCYS on South Mitiltary Dr. Dr.and Roosevelt St.
in San Antonio. I was by myself and it was cold and raining waiting outside in line to get in? I waited for an hour and it was miserable When I finally got inside to get my Thanksgiving Dinnerand and sat down to eat and enjoy the food.The cost of my food was $15:99 instead of $13:99 . I just wanted to sit down and eat my dinner so I let it go in price.
When I sat down to eat my food was all old. I called over the waitress and told her.The waitress was so kind and offered to warm up my food.
I thank her and said Thanks but I would just like it boxed and take it home.She went and brought a me cool wipp for my pumpkin pie. I left her a tip.Never again .

A two-inch piece of sausage cost $2.99 - Absolutely Ridiculous!!!
I went and purchased Lu Ann Spaghetti and was charged $8.99. I also purchased a Lu Ann Fried Fish and was charged $8.99.
I also purchased a sausage that was about 2 inches and was charged $2.99 for it. I didn't realize that sausage was considered a delicatessen to be so expensive.
The bottom line is that servers are being told by management to serve less so as to save money, and that's not including how small the salads are and how small the fruit salads are.
What at ripoff!!
El Pollo Loco, which is right next door serves generous portions with every order.
Shame on you for taking advantage of the customers!!!

My wife and I received a gift card from the manager of a Luby's Restaurant in El Paso, Texas, in about 2019. Due to the pandemic, we never used this gift card.
Recently when cleaning out a filing cabinet, I came across it. I decided to use it; however, the cashier stated that it was not valid. So, I contacted Luby's customer service department over a week ago. I called them on several occasions and left voicemails as requested.
I never received a callback from customer service. My wife and I have been loyal customers of Luby's for over 50 years. I guess besides closing several Luby's; they have decided to close their customer service's department, as well. What now?

Also on this visit to our Luby's, I approached a server, she turned and walked away. I then went to the cashier to ask for pepper, and was told to ask a server. After walking around, I found another server, and, after a few minutes, she brought me the pepper.
Later, I needed more water; so, I went back to the serving line and got more water. By the way, I still left a $2.00 tip.
