Verified Buyer |Cannot get refund
We live out of town, family got sick and we couldnt go to the movie and cannot get anyone to answer the phone after trying 30+ times a day

Concession Stand Needs a Reality Check
Update 8/9/13: After contacting Mr. Watson, he assured me that the issue had been resolved and invited me to give the movie theater another try.
We went back a few weeks ago, and of course ordered 2 scoops of ice cream at the concession stand to test if it had in fact been resolved. This time we had no problem what-so-ever.
I had a scoop of cookies and cream with a scoop of buttered pecan (mmm!). As far as I'm concerned, Lubbock Premiere Cinema has redeemed itself.
I went to the IMAX theater in Lubbock on May 14 (Tuesday). For some reason, we had to buy our movie tickets at the concession stand that day as the regular box office was closed, so while we bought our tickets, we decided to order some Blue Bell ice cream.
They advertise either one or two scoops in a cup. I asked for the 2 scoops, but to my dismay, the kid running the concession stand refused to give me 2 different flavors, claiming they could only do 2 scoops of the same flavor.
Umm... who orders 2 scoops of ice cream and gets the same flavor for both scoops?
I told him how ridiculous this was and told him to just spare me the wasted time and go get his manager. The alleged "manager" came over, which was just another employee running the concession stand, and she also claimed they could not accommodate my request for inventory purposes. Really?? Inventory purposes??
It's a scoop of ice cream. Give me a break. I told them to forget it, they just lost a sale...
and by the looks of it, they could have used it. The place was dead.
