AI Highlights
  • - Inconsistent experiences: fishy odor in a bag, then okay.
  • - Overpriced and clouds the tank with orange color; skimmer goes nuts.

I also have had very poor experiences with this product. It has a bad oder fishy seafood smell one bag.

Then the next time you buy its ok. Then fishy again. Kinda overpriced for that kind of quality. Maybe because its from a small mom and pop business.

Going back to Hikari.

Also clouds up tank orange color and skimmer goes nuts. Why put orange dye in it?

  • - Quality declined as the company grew.
  • - Defrosted, it's watery.
  • - It's garbage and overpriced.
  • - It smells fishy; I'll stick to Rods Food.

This stuff use to be good when they were a small company but now is crap. Ever defrost this food its about as watery as it comes.

Complete garbage and over priced. It also smells like fish straight out of the bag. Ill be sticking to my goto Rods Food. This stuff use to be good when they were a small company but now is crap.

Had algae bloom after using this too. Read some feedback that was promising but after trying realized it was just hype.

Switching back to Hikari. This food is cleaner and from a bigger more legit company.

LRS Fish Foods contain and use shad a freshwater fish, and advertises us caught shrimp. While infact they use China bought shrimp and have been caught.

It has high levels of toxic mercury. They have also use cuttlefish which is toxic to small fish. They copied Rods Food which is a better food. Thats what I use now.

If you defrost this LRS food its like water. Rods is much better.

Larry Dupont is shady as they come. My sister use to work for him and said he shows photos of local seafood that he uses but then buys cheap frozen import.

They also add lots of water after it is made to pad profit margin. There's little to none of the high dollar stuff in it like scallops, etc.

The guy is a drunk and cheat. You should hear the stories of the *** he talks about his customets.
