Medically necessary surgery denied
- - Insurance denied hysterectomy as not medically necessary.
- - Ongoing issues since 2014; D&C tomorrow in Covington; plans legal action by June 8, 2015.
I am having another D&C tomorrow in Covington. I just had one in January and and my insurance company Louisiana Health Cooperative denied my hysterectomy scheduled for this past Monday because they said it was not medically necessary even though my doctor says it is.
So if that is your insurance company beware!!! They will be paying for more than a hysterectomy when my attorney gets through with them!!
I have endured missed work, fatigue, severe blood loss and I can't function normally because of my condition. I have been having these problems since November of 2014.
I will be filing a lawsuit on or before June 8, 2015 if they do not approve my surgery and compensate me for the problems they have caused. Initially all I wanted was my surgery approved but now the price just went up!!!

Did they finally figure everything out? I have a hysterectomy scheduled for tomorrow and they are still pending the review which was sent to them 3weeks ago!!
