Louis G Atsaves drags his feet & LIES!!
I retained Louis G Atsaves six months ago, he was supposed to handle my workman's comp lawsuit and get the back monies paid to me and have my comp reinstated. I've seen him in his office once and spoke to him on about 4 occasions! Every time I call his office, he's on another call and he NEVER returns calls after leaving numerous messages. He told me months ago that we will have a trial date within two weeks, still waiting Mr. Atsaves! I sent email after email, also no response. I asked him to send me all the documentation in my file so that I may retain another attorney since he insists on dragging his feet with my case. He told someone in his office that he spoke to me after my last email and that he had sent me the documentation, neither happened, so that was just another lie! I asked to be released from my contract with him and his answer was that he still plans on going to trial, in other words, he has no intention of releasing from my contract and as far as I'm concerned, he's made ZERO effort to get me to trial either!
Because of this so-called professional, I cannot pay my bills (including my rent), my stress level is so high it's off the charts, I'm in debt to my friends and family, I cannot buy my prescriptions and I cannot hire another attorney!
What does it take to get this man to understand how desperate my situation has become? While his sits in his nice warm house and sleeps in his comfortable bed, does he ever think about what his lack of concern for his clients is doing to their lives? I THINK NOT!!
If someone recommends Mr. Atsaves for legal services .......... RUN as fast as you can in the opposite direction!

Now his wife is chairman of the workers comp commission. What a joke this state is.
We have had the same problem, how were you able to get rid of him?
I experienced the same problems with Mr. Atsaves!
He's never available, does not return calls or numerous emails! I also tried to get my paperwork back from him, I thought I was going to have to hire another lawyer to get MY paperwork back!
I ended up hiring another Worker's Compensation law firm to get my suit settled, I made the mistake of trusting this man and I almost lost my home because of Mr.
Atsaves and his lack of action to get my case before an arbitrator! This man will tell you that your case is awaiting a trial date but the alleged date never materializes!
