Terrible customer service

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Some Lordco employees are rude and aggressive, when dealing with the general public. Thats is the case in Parksville warehouse.

One of their drivers screamed at me, swore 30 feet from a stop sign, and passed me on the left through a stop sign. The manager was almost as rude and seemed ok with her employees rudeness and reckless driving.

Lordco is such a *** company.

I have never had a good experience dealing with Lordco employees. It's as if they go out of their way to find the biggest redneck *** they can, and deliberately tell them to ignore all customer service etiquette.

Preferred solution: I want that *** company, Lordco, to go out of business. They are inferior to many other automotive companies.

User's recommendation: Don't shop at Lordco. They're such a *** company.

Resolved: Complaint Regarding Lordco Auto Parts and Unfair Business Practices

Updated by user Dec 28, 2023

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology.

Original review Dec 20, 2023
Dear Lordco Auto Parts Customer Service,
I hope this email finds you well. My name is Nasser Farrar, and I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received from Lordco Auto Parts Fall Ave, North Vancouver.
Approximately seven months ago 2023/05/27, document, 111V008994, I purchased an Engine Coolant Water Outlet With Sensor from your store, which unfortunately suffered damage shortly after that.

I promptly visited your store for assistance, and after an assessment, I was advised by your representative to purchase a new part and bring back the damaged one for a refund.
Following this advice, I acquired the replacement part (2023/12/19, invoice, 24V0034453) and returned the damaged one as instructed. However, to my dismay, I was met with denial and the staff's refusal to provide the promised refund. This situation was exacerbated by the unpleasant and unprofessional behavior exhibited by your team during my interactions.
I believe that as a customer, I deserve fair treatment and adherence to the commitments made by your representatives. The lack of accountability and failure to honor promises has left me deeply dissatisfied with Lordco Auto Parts.
I kindly request a thorough investigation into this matter and a resolution that aligns with the principles of good customer service.

I expect a prompt response and a resolution to my concern. Should the issue persist without resolution, I may have no choice but to escalate this matter further through relevant consumer protection channels.
I appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to a swift and satisfactory resolution.
Sincerely,
Nasser Farrar

Overcharging cash customers

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

They tried charging me $59.00 for a part that I got from T&T auto parts for $11.77. If you don't have an account they consistently try to rip you off. There should be a law about marking up items 1200%

Left behind by technology

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Its 2023 and you still cant research parts for your vehicle on their website, and of course can NOT order those parts on their website for delivery or pick up.

Pathetically behind the times.

Bought over $580 in parts with charge of core charge included of $300 and was not given a recipe for my purchase and was told just being in the old caliper to redeem the core charge for the new caliper as I put back the money from the first core charge for other caliper in to the bill as I had it on hand. No with no recipe being refused the cash back for the core charge refund due to not having the recipe that I was never giving in the first place.

I have bank statement to show the purchase with the date and I have An account with your company. But this money was put forward in the understanding I would be getting the core charge back. Was told just bring in the part and it would be refunded. Now nothing was said about the need of a recipe and also wasnt giving a recipe either.

I wouldn't have left the store with out getting one if I was told I needed to bring a recipe to have the core charge exchange. With having it on my account and the box of the purchase you would think it be straight forward exchange for the core charge. Now being offered in-store credit does me no good at all and wasn't what was explained in the sale that I would receive the cash back otherwise I wouldn't have came to Lorco in the first place if this was going to be the case as I'm on disability and between the low income I recieve and the price of gas every dollar has a huge impact on my living. I don't think it's proper to give me a hard time to my core charge to be given back in any other for then what was expressed at point of sale especially when I never was told I needed recipe and or given one as well.

The fact I have the part the box to prove it came front he location the fact that I have the bank statement to proove the sale with date and it's also in your computer should be way more than enough to show I'm intitled to the core charge exchange for my money put out and should be returned.

The money put forward for the core charge. It was a charge for a part that wasn't not a return for a defective part yet a charge for the exact term of core charge where you pay for the change of the exchange for the Refab of the part and the return for my money that was put out for exactly that reason should be up help with no discrepancy.

Its not a problem I would like to tell you about the exceptional service I received today in your Langley store. Sorry I cant remember her name but she is the paint and body go to person.

She spent the time helping me find exactly what I need. She explained in detail about some products. Its been a very long time since Ive come across anybody in the service/retail with outstanding customer service.

I normally shop at a different branch but they do t have a paint amd body dept. hats off to your paint and body gal, excellent representation of Lordco!!

Thank you,

Her name may have been Dina or Lina, Im not sure.

Cheers
