Terrible customer service
Ordered wrong size knobs and could not exchange. I was issued a coupon code once returned and had to reorder after a fee was deducted.
When I tried to reorder, there was no place for a coupon code although there was a place for a discount code. I put the code there and was given a message that it was invalid. I tried this several times over a few days. When I called just to order the items, I explained and was told that the code could not be applied after it was ordered.
I had not ordered but was trying to order over the phone. I was told that my code worked on their end. It was a lot of time, trouble and expense just to order the knobs in a different size.
The customer service representatives were rude both times and I would not recommend doing business with them. Ive used several other hardware services over the years and had great experiences.
Expensive mistake
Door knobs are pretty but very poorly made; they fall apart. Within 7 months, one glass *** just came off in my hand with very light use.
(I am live alone.) Customer service responded via email that “glass is not covered under warranty.” I argued that the glass *** itself is intact but came away from the metal socket.
They never responded. Since then 2 more knobs have come off.
Preferred solution: Full refund
Terrible....DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY
I needed help with my online order, and tried many times throughout the day to reach someone. Nothing but voice mail.
Eventually, I got through to a customer service rep was beyond nasty. I ultimately asked to speak to a supervisor, which he said he'd transfer me to. I got a voice mail. So, I called back a little while later, again, many attempts to get someone on the phone.
I got the SAME rep, asked again to speak to a supervisor, and he said he was the only one there today!! So, why did he agree to let me speak to a supervisor. He put me on hold, ON PURPOSE, and then NEVER got back to me.
Since it was an urgent matter, I ended up calling the manufacturer who ended up helping me, and noted they were not happy about the way this distributor treated me. STAY AWAY!!

False information - terrible customer service
I ordered 2 door sets with glass door knobs. One set to use outside.
I asked before I ordered the set if it was suitable for outdoor use with cold temps. They said yes. The doorknobs discoloured to a yellowish colour. I've since emailed them and messaged them on facebook with no reply.
I spent over $500 and no reply. Someone should have contacted me to at least offer to replace the set with something else.
I would not recommend this company to anyone wishing to purchase hardware. I'm so disappointed, now I have to look for a replacement set after I have spent a lot of money already.
Preferred solution: Replace the 2 door knobs with another set not made of glass. Rope style in polished chrome.
Buyer Beware - Poor Quality and Terrible Customer Service
Glass doorknobs were very poor quality and did not turn or lock without manipulation. I wanted a refund but was told that even though the quality was poor, I would incur an 18% restocking fee.
The rep kept stating that I didn't like the item, and would not acknowledge the poor quality. He talked over me and kept repeating the same dialog over and over. He was rude and seemed to take delight in not refunding the entire amount of the $200 order.
I wish I did my homework and never ordered from this company. They have the worst customer service reps and policies I have ever encountered.
Refund Policy Review
This place is not about customer service. In fact they are doing all they can to prevent giving a refund.
The girl I talked to claimed she is the manager - if she is - they won't be in business long.
If they don't honor the refund properly...BBB. Propbaly going under anyway!
Product not accurate with website!
I purchased 187$ worth of light plate switches. I purchases 6 antique brass fixtures.
The double, triple and quadruple toggle plates were different looking than the single ones on their website. The single one was the only one they show on the website. When I called and spoke with Jamie, she was condescending and rude, just saying that's how they are supposed to be. I ended up paying 18% restocking fee, $15 to send them back and they charged me for the original shipping which is free if you spend over 100$.
I spent 75$ for nothing but grief! Do not shop here!

Glass knobs spontaneously breaking
I am having an issue with the quality of the knobs that I purchased. After I installed the knobs in my kitchen, two of them spontaneously broke.
They were not be used at the time that they broke. The knobs would break in half and then fall onto the surface below. In one case the broken *** fell onto my kitchen counter top and left shards of glass on the surface.
Thankfully I was able to clean up the mess before anyone was hurt by the broken glass. Their customer service is unwilling to stand behind the quality of their product and they are unwilling to replace the defective knobs.
Terrible Return Policy and Poor Customer Service
I ordered door knobs from them and spent over $400, I decided to return the styles that I was not interested in and order more of the one that I was. The merchandise that I kept was well over $100 and even though they advertise free shipping on orders over $100, they charged me for shipping anyways.
Even though I already had to pay for shipping to return the items. I have been exchanging e-mails with a guy named Henry. If they do not resolve this to my satisfaction I certainly would never order from them again.
There are too many other companies out there that do a better job with customer service. Very disappointed!
Phone order
I'd placed a phone order which I never received. I phoned and was put through to a supervisor "Jason". He proceeded to tell me
"he didn't give a *** about my $40.00 bull *** order" and that I could "cancel it and he could care less"! He used such profanity talking to me that I'm still in shock! I only wish this man's supervisors could have heard the way he spoke to me!
My husband says he was a big man talking to a woman like that ...let alone a customer.
I plan to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau!
Light switch plate
I ordered a light switch plate from them. I received it and it has a big lumpy metal seam down the front.
The switch plate is clearly defective consisting of a badly poured metal process, which is not described on their website. The picture of this switch plate on their website does not have a big lumpy metal seam. Contacted their customer service, they stated via email that this is the way they are supposed to look.
They sent a ridiculous return policy that would cost me more than entire initial charge. In conclusion, product not as advertised Grade F, customer service Grade F.
Look in the Attic horrible returns policy
i ordered four antique brass towel and toilet paper items on May 13. Despite stating a 4-7 day shipping, the items took 18 days to arrive.
They were not as depicted as they were not antique brass, but much brighter. In order to return the items, I had to do an email listing all the items. They emailed me a form, with very complicated directions and I had to list all the items again! They took 18% restocking fee, the cost to them of shipping the item, even though they advertise free shipping, and i had to pay for return shipping and insurance.
They can still refuse the package and return it to me AT MY COST if I have filled out the form incorrectly.
I think I will have lost about half of the cost of the items because of their mistake.

I know I can't use this company as a suppler for a subdivision I am building now.

You might try to find out who the officers or owners of this company are. Do a search online but read this article first, it gives you info on how to find corporate owners and officers:

Then, call them up and try to speak to someone in authority personally.
Don't talk to their customer service people, try to get a corporate officer's phone number, etc.
and speak directly to them. They need to know they have a problem in their telephone section.
