Lack of sensitivity

I was in the Longos on St. Clair West in Toronto.

The entire store is covered in Xmas decorations...totally blanketed with Xmas signs, ornaments, etc.

etc.

There is NOT ONE SINGLE DECORATION FOR HANUKKAH. Nothing in the entire store.

I find this to be very insensitive to your Jewish customers and would appreciate hearing back from your organization as to the reason behind this.

Customer Service Complaint - Employee Behavior

I am writing to express my concern regarding an incident I encountered at your Longos store, which has been my primary grocery spot for several years. Overall, I have had positive experiences with your store, particularly appreciating the excellent selection of cheeses and the consistently friendly and approachable staff.

However, on my recent visit, I had an unfortunate interaction with one of your employees named Laura, which left me feeling dissatisfied and frustrated.

During my visit, when I approached the deli counter, I was met with an unsmiling and unfriendly attitude from Laura. As I requested different cold cuts, I noticed that she handled the meats quite roughly, which was not only unpleasant to witness but also concerning for the quality of the products. It seemed that she may have been having a bad day, but it is important to ensure that customers are not at the receiving end of any frustrations or negativity from your employees.

I believe that consistent and positive customer service is crucial for the success of any business, and while this incident does not overshadow my overall positive experiences at Longos, I would appreciate if you could address this matter and provide appropriate feedback or training to Laura in order to prevent similar incidents in the future. It is essential for your employees to understand the importance of maintaining a courteous and respectful demeanor towards customers at all times.

Price of 1/2 barbecued chicken

How do you justify charging a premium of about $2.50 for an employee to cut a whole chicken in half . It takes about 3 seconds. A whole chicken costs about $13.00 while a 1/2 costs about $8.50.
