Dead Battery
- - Service on Jan 3, 2018 for a 2005 Honda.
- - A terminal corrosion was missed in the inspection, causing a dead battery on Jan 9, 2018 and a 2-hour tow.
I sent this letter to L.B. Honda the day it happened today is January 20 still no reply Hi, My wife had her 2005 Honda serviced on January 3, 2018.
Today January 9, 2018 she was stuck in the rain with a dead battery. There was so much corrosion on one of the terminals that the battery would not turn the engine over. Apparently the technician missed this very important "detail" when performing the multi-point inspection. She had to wait 2 hours on a very busy rainy day for a tow truck.
We are very disappointment in Long Beach Honda. She took a photo of the battery when the AAA service person got there and opened the hood. Not only did you miss an opportunity in selling us a new battery and a new cable, you may miss our business altogether.
We feel that you should make every attempt to correct this oversight. Thank you for your time and attention in this matter, Steve
