Lawyer is unethical
I want to leave a review and I pray that others see this sooner than I had. This man (Mr.
London) is the most mean, callous, arrogant and the rudest man I've ever interacted with in my life. He DOES NOT come to any court dates. HE DOES NOT return or answer calls pertaining to the case. He was so mean to me he called me back later that night around 8:30 to apologize.
Then he did the VERY SAME behavior/thing the next month. He even called me retarded twice. Nothing he says makes sense and it's mostly misleading. He has so many offices and numbers it's easy for him to swindle clients.
None of my documents show he was my attorney. I think he hides under his wife's name/license. He is a crook. He guaranteed and made promises, he ethically should not have.
He RUSHED me to make a payment and then his clerk RUSHED me into signing the contract then I NEVER HEARD FROM HIM AGAIN! Not until it was time for another payment. My mother was in the hospital to get a biopsy. He called me YELLING at me and said something along the lines of "you must've forgot I'm a criminal defense attorney!?" I asked him what did he mean by that.
Just because someone has a criminal record doesn't mean they are a thief. His assistant is just as bad. He had so much grease in his hair I was so embarrassed. He had stains on his clothes and they were not pressed or ironed.Then there was a random Latina at my court date.
I have no idea who she was or what she was doing on my case. Her dental hygiene was very poor. It made me very sick. They will NOT fight your case.
Every time I had an opportunity to speak with Mr. London he was ALWAYS driving never working or at court. Always in an unpleasant mood. I told him I liked him and I trusted him as my attorney (I was saying that to calm him down) and he told me he didn't care.
I've already reached out to someone at Dallas County courts. He has over 50 bad one star reviews. I actually haven't seen more than 2 good reviews for him. Yall please be careful.
He has more than one office or more than one llc maybe, so when you search for defense attorneys his name pops up numerous of times under different practices and different numbers. He is a liar and a criminal. I am also reporting him to the bar. If you experienced anything unethical from any lawyer you need to report it to the bar for an investigation.
I hope that the other clients he's taken advantage of will read my post and make a decision to contact the state bar. He is unethical. He is a liar.
He is also a mean person. He will take your money and talk badly to you and never answer any other calls or texts.

Questionable collection practices
London and london got my account for collection and immediately filed a small claim for under 2k. I settled So I have to make weekly payment on their site with a check..
an actual check. As if most people defaulting are in good standing with a checking account. I am. But this feels like a predatory practice against the millenial and gen Z generation.
They offer no up to date information on the website on what you still owe. Their days of working this way are numbered.

Annoyed and confused
Their name was left on one of my credit debts after it went to collections so I contacted them and i have a payment plan September 2023 on the 6th i paid 100$ a month for both accounts so i pay them off at the same time but when you call them you have to leave a voicemail!! And when they call you its always when your not available/ working and they leave an extension..
its always the same annoying lady Michelle ( after they say the workers are busy taking other calls its ALWAYS her) me never dealing with a law firm thought that I need to do the payments asap and pay it down. Weeks go by and I call them and play tag again back and forth, I never got a letter confirming my payment plan (like we discussed) I never got any form of mail/ statements from them to update my balance or acknowledgment and now Im pissed because I felt sketched out from the beginning and now I feel so stupid, do I call my bank and see if I can get the money back I have no clue what to do at point!! I feel scammed and lets not forget the best part..
the number they call you on isnt there number it takes you to a whole other business like its a one sided call on there end but you cant reach them back at the same number.. *** sketch never again Im better off leaving my collections to rot because now I dont trust anyone or anything

Get a hold of your credit report. It will show any balances currently in collections.
If they were really paid off by you in the last two years it will show that also. It could be something as simple as the debt is paid off so they have no need to speak to you.

Unethical, unorganized, lack of communication
I tried to reach a informal resolution about my reimbursement with Reggie London but he avoided addressing the issue for a week 1/2. Then denied reimbursement.
Tim Lacy and Michael castillas are even worser. They have broken every rule, regulations and policies of the bar that's prohibited. I was referred to Reggie London by Attorney Craig Watkins. Reggie told me since Craig referred me that he would personally handle my case in noone else.
After paying the flat fee of $10,000 dollars. There started to be a lack of communication, deceptive lies, procrastination, excuses and Reggie started shouting at me after I told him I read bad reviews on his company. Which all the bad reviews are true. Reggie London done nothing really on my case for 6 months I was mislead, lied too and e.t.c .
I found out later that a man name Tim Lacy was down as my retained attorney which was a lie I didn't never meet Tim Lacy until July, 5, 2022 I hired London and London Feb,14,2022 . The on way I met Tim Lacy and Michael castillas on July,5,2022 Reggie London asked me could they sit in on our meeting in share they opinions about my discovery. I've never met these lawyers before that was supposed to be allegedly working on my case. I gave neither of these attorneys permission or consent to even look into my case I hired Reggie London and he said I hired London in London Law Firm after he took my money and I brought it to his attention that I didn't give consent for Tim Lacy or Michael castillas ito be working on my case.
Prior to July,5,2022 Reggie London knew I was about to terminate him because he called me shouting about " o you about to fire me"! At that point on July, 8,2022 I told Reggie London I was sending a certified letter for termination and on that date Reggie London starting emailing the DA to ask if they had a offer. Something we agreed not to ask the DA but this crook tried to justify keeping my money because our agreement was to get me to the plea process and that was what we agreed the flat out $10,000 fee was for. I've asked for a reimbursement from Reggie London he sent me a long list of lies about what work he had allegedly done.
Reggie London had been to busy with other people cases and trials to even start looking into my case. He didn't even know who my judge was when I asked him he had to look it up on his phone. Reggie London extorting me out unearned money. Reggie London has violated client and Attorney privileges by telling me two of his clients have killed their self over their cases that was not any of my business .
Reggie London started hollering and shouting at me when I start picking out the things that I felt that they were not doing that I was promised. Reggie London started forwarding my call to receptionist not returning my calls. London and London firm is a total nightmare please no one ever have this company or Reggie London or Tim Lacy or Michael castillas. Emotionally and mentally this Law Firm has had me emotionally messed up.
I reported Reggie London to the bar association for investigation.
I believe Reggie London Tim Lacy and Michael castillas should be disbarred from working as a lawyer. Immediately disciplinary actions is requested and reimbursement for my unearned money Reggie London and London and London Law Firm has taken extorted me from.

I CAN RELATE REGGIE LONDON IS A CROOK ALONG WITH TIM LACY AND MICHAEL CASTILLAS. THEY CHEAT CLIENTS OUT OF UNEARNED MONEY, LIE AND DONT AND CALLS AFTER THEY GET YOUR MONEY AND FAIL TO REIMBURSE MONEY, WE ALL NEED TO FILE A SUIT TOGETHER TO HOLD LONDON AND LONDON RESPONSIBLE.

instead of ambulance chasing they chase people having debt issues...never met a person that purposely avoids debt...its usually a personal problem in their lives..my recommendation file bankruptcy.(BK)..you can file yourself...forms provided by BK court..filing fee is around 350 bucks but you can get it waived based on income....you can even get a pro bono lawyer to represent you in BK without a charge depending on income...this is not Legal Aid....Remember BK requires going to a Federal Court..not a municipal court...Look up BK filing or go to one of the BK courts for info...you can get all the forms on line or go to the courthouse
BK filing is once every 8 years..make sure you use it when you have alot of debt..DONT USE IT FOR a BS 500 chargeoff

This is the WORST company I’ve ever dealt with. They have absolutely no consideration for people.
They literally took out every single penny in my account and I hadn’t gone grocery shopping for me or my kids but thank god we still had some food in my house so my kids could eat. Me on the other hand I didn’t eat lunch for a week while at work. I love paycheck to paycheck so for me it was very hard. I called those people and they could CARE LESS!!

I am trying to get some information on a debt that this office is dealing with. I called and the agent spoke so fast, I had to ask 2x's for her to repeat her name and she was pissed when I asked her to spell it.
I always ask for an employee ID when dealing with customer service, her reaction when I asked? "We don't have those here" "Right" She stated she is well aware of the SOL laws in CT but refused to enlighten me. There was a fraudulent on my sons CR and we are trying to get it straight...No help what so ever!! Just wanted $$$ London & London, hey!

Let's revisit the SOL laws... I suppose I shouldn't complain, their customer service pays them low wages, they say what they think is ok, not right
sadly for you guys, they can still attempt to collect a debt whether it is time barred or not. they can even file small claims proceedings, because whether it is time barred or not, if you dont show for the hearing, they win by default judgement.
if you do show then they are out the filing fees. not a huge loss to them. the best thing you can do is know your rights, the laws, and have a copy of the credit report with the date of first default on it.
then file a counter claim against them to be heard on the same day. you can also write them a certified letter as a cease and desist calling and demand they only contact you via mail.

London & London are the slime of the attorney community. They are a small family owned business specializing, in their own words "By engaging in skip tracing and asset locating, and by obtaining bank, property, and wage executions, our collections staff diligently pursues judgments and helps our clients realize the maximum return possible on delinquent credits."
Despite my very detailed description of my financial situation, (facing foreclosure, can't buy my insulin, no bank balances, electricity to be shut off, and no income except SS, they continued to call me and threaten litigation with anger in their voices.
And despite being classified "Uncollectible" by the IRS, London & London filed suit against me to collect against credit card debt they bought. I cooperated fully with L&L and offered any documentation they might need, to absolutely no avail. If you look up outstanding litigation by this firm in CT, you will find 100's of cases similar to mine . They are simply "debt buyers" and they use every tactic to collect anything they can despite the individual circumstances.
It is not that I don't want to pay, however, I cannot pay at this point. They are debt collection thugs.
you have to love lawyers that don't know collection laws and waste their time and money to file small claims on people that are judgement proof a lawyer with any smarts would check assets first and then file, but these dummies file first and then find out they wasted money on a person that's judgement proof, when they come after any of your money or property just file your exemptions and laugh at em

I was looking for a law firm and stumbled across this firm, after visiting with them I found that they were just Scam artists, that are bill collectors, they are broke and have no money but they try to steal your money.
The Worst Part is they are a family of bill collectors that is how they make money they take your money because they cant do anything else
Horrible people Horrible company, if I were you I would stay clear of this firm.

This Law Firm is Hideous!! They are insensitive to the Poor and Homeless over a mere$1000 credit card debt!!!
Their failure to help a very poor person, and creating a $140 negative bank account balance for a 62 year old person who had no recourse and has mental health issues which prohibited him with dealing with a matter for the EVIL Capital One Institution. Attempts were made to rectify this situation, but fell on deaf ears on London & London law firm. I am seeking restitution for harassment and causing this negative debt.
Like Capital One, London & London is a horrendous institution that caters to the RICH, and CARES nothing for a poor person who is Homeless and had no recourse to deal with this *** incident!!!! SHAME ON YOU!!!

Same thing is happening to me! i hired them to take care of some DART Fare invasion tickets and they NEVER called me back.
And its been 3 and a half months and they Still are active warrants! He had the nerve to be really mean to me and yelled at me and even hung up in my face! I'm trying to figure out how to either report him or get my money back.
I should have looked at these reviews before i hired them. Now I am stuck.
