We tried running over 500 names/cases and only got 5 accurate hits! This data is so old, it appears to have not been updated in several years.
The customer service was so bad that I felt compelled to google the company.
And whoa it looks like they have a very sordid past with corrupt CEOs and shady public fillings, using a deceased persons info as a fake investor?!?! How are they still in business???

LocatePLUS is an awesome service, especially for high volume locates and right party contact info. I used them during my time at a PI agency, and I use them now for a risk management firm.
They are great. The website is a bit outdated and isn't as modern as, let's say, other platforms, but the service is worth it and the LP team is very informative and kind.
LP staff is typically pretty responsive, but sometimes they might lag on a response. However, it's a small team and that's not an issue for me.

Bait and switch
- Used it for months; initially $64.95 for unlimited searches.
- Then they changed to paid searches without notice, leading to a $400 bill.
Used it for months and at first it was great 64.95 for unlimited searches. Then they decided to change it to you had to pay for those same searches the kicker is they never told you this was happening. So a fun surprise with a 400 dollar bill

As I age, dealing with businesses over the phone and websites gets harder and more frustrating. It seems as if all common sense and going the extra mile are dinosaurs found only in the past.
Recently I had some problems logging into Locate plus and called your number. I was blessed (first of all by the fact there was only one choice I had to make!) but even more so by getting Ms. Jackie on the phone. She was delightful.
The person who could really help me wasn’t in that particular day but instead of having a “sorry about your luck” attitude, she was willing to try to figure it out. Unfortunately,she couldn’t but she didnt stop there. A (too) long process was made much easier because of her. She followed up and made sure I was fixed up before she let it go. Plus she was not patronizing or dismissive.
I’m always ready to jump on and report people who have terrible work ethics so I wanted to give equal time to those shining stars!
Unfortunately for her, I now have her extension so next time there is a problem....LOL...(sorry Jackie).

Reactivation

This post is for JACKIE {{Redacted}}: After consulting other "Locate" firms METRO LEGAL PROCESS,INC. has determined that LOCATEPLUS is the best out of three companies contacted.
LOCATEPLUS staff was found to be more superior in their expertise and support. One company we contacted took three (3) days just to get someone to call back even after giving our phone number and e-mail address!!
Moreover, we asked all sorts of irrelevant questions which made the whole experience time consuming and irritating Therefore, as per your letter dated February 2, 2018 we would like to have our account reactivated as soon as practicable for you. Warm regards, James {{Redacted}}, President
Won't quit billing
- They billed me three times at $64.95 after I asked to stop.
- I was told I must write a letter to stop billing; the agent did not sound American.
I called Locate Plus and told them I was retiring and ask them to quit billing me. They said OK.
They billed me 3 more times at $64.95. I read where there was criminal activity a few months ago but the company was taken over by a man from India. The customer service man did not sound like American. He said I had to write them a letter and tell them to stop billing.
I went online and copied their rules and regulations. There were 4 pages of rules in such small letters I could not read any of it.
DO NOT USE LOCATE PLUS IN 2017. I am writing BBB and other legal facilities and letting them know about this company.

BUYER BEWARE
- The account was held for two weeks during an audit.
- Refund for prepaid month denied; renewal at triple price.
- Later a removed card was charged.
This is one of the most unprofessional, dishonest companies I have ever used. After being with them for a few months, with no issues, they placed a two week hold on my account, while they performed an "audit".
I called daily and they refused to provide any updates when I inquired about it. After receiving no information regarding my inability to use the service, I requested to cancel and be reimbursed for the month I had prepaid for. They refused to refund me, and offered to renew the service for triple my initial cost. When I declined, I was told I would not receive a refund but did not owe a balance.
I then receive an invoice a few weeks later, when i called to dispute, "Mike" began to yell and when I asked to speak with someone else, he threatened and belittled me. Now, two weeks later, I have been charged on a card that I had removed from the account two months ago, for the "remaining balance" that I should not have even had.
Now I am disputing the charge that was debited without my consent or knowledge. This company is a scam.

Spend your money elsewhere
- Information is stale and mirrors free public sites.
- They limit searches to a flat rate and push costly searches.
- Billing issues, outages, and poor support.
Information is stale. They are basically peddling the same info as you can find for nothing on Been Verified or any other similar public access site.
They only open up a handful of searches for the flat rate price then they purposefully seek to deceive unaware site users into buying the costly searches. There are also constant billing discrepancies and their customer service is atrocious. Expect to maybe hear back from them in a day or two if you ever even do.
Factor in that their site goes down regularly. If you're a professional and relying on Locate Plus to conduct your investigation then you're cheating your clients.

- LocatersPlus charged $600 and claimed progress on birth-mother search.
- Three years later, birth mother was found with help from Jane Servadio in Fairfield, CT.
Well I see I am not the only one who was taken for advantage. LocatersPlus took me for $600. Every time I called for an update, Christine Dillon assured me the "search" for my birth mother was going well. I called in one day & found "the number you have dialed is no longer in service". Nice, real nice.
3 years later, I have found my birth mother & am having a WONDERFUL reunion thanks to Jane Servadio from an adoption support group in Fairfield, CT.
Don't give up searching! It will all work out and when it does, be prepaired for the most intense roller coaster ride of your life!

Ripped Off By LocatersPlus. I payed them over $400 in June of 2004 and have yet to see any results.

Around the spring of 2004 I paid LocatersPlus over $400 dollars to search for my birth mother. They insured me that they do not take cases that they did not feel they could complete. My initial contact was with Feraldi but later I mostly communicated with Christine Dillon. I trusted her! After the issues with Feraldi she assured me that everything would be worked out. I waited and sent emails every few months. I received not responses for my many emails. I asked for a refund but did not receive one. I cannot believe a company can still be functioning that has ripped off so many people. I have since gone on to other searchers but I am still very angry. these people need to be put behind bars.

And you still haven't gotten the message : place a period at the end of a sentence. I don't know which is worse ; spending the day reminding you about periods or the fact that you still aren't using one in the right place. My 1st Grade teacher would have held you back a year for that.
