Tried to get customer support for 6 months.

my mailbox was full i couldn't open anything delete anything. i reach out via email .. never recieved any support. i then cancelled after aleast 20 years of paying 79$ a year super diappointed . no i didnt call cause i pay for email service. top off this crap i get a bill for 2 months cause i cancilled cc payment to them and the charge 3 bucks to terminate.. never never never trust this localnet service. 0 support kim monty

User's recommendation: not worth .10 cents.

100% increase for email "service" in 12 months?

My annual service agreement for webmail + email address only service just went from $12.95 to $24.95, I only found this out after seeing the charge today on my credit card. I called them to complain and they said they had rewritten their conditions notice on September 8th 2014, yet had NEVER sent a email or letter telling me of the almost 100% increase in a year! I canceled my "service" today and will dispute the charge on my card. Just use gmail or yahoo folks, free and less headaches. Localnet is a total waste of time & Money

Tried to cancel service / got charged anyway

I signed up for service, then got told that I needed to buy their modem.So I mailed them a cancellation notice like they told me to 20 days ahead of its due date. Then they went ahead and charge me for a months service that never got!I told their customer service person that I didn't feel this was fair - let alone good practice. And all she said was "That's too bad." She said I should have read the fine print when I signed up. I informed her that I signed up over a conversation on the phone and that no one informed me of any fine print at that time. She said I just should have known that. So I asked to speak to her supervisor, and she told me "no"! I feel that I shouldn't have been charged for a service I never received. At the very lease it seems like bad public relations to be so rude to a former client or anyone for that matter!

Local Net charged my account for services not rendered

My account was charged $87.90 for services I didn't accept. When I called them about it, they kept hanging up on me. They are refusing to reimburse me and If I won't pay the bill that they said I have with them, they won't talk to me. When I asked the customer service rep what his name was, he said, "I already told you my name" and then he hung up. He doesn't have anything in writing to authorize these charges, he said it was verbal. Localnet.com - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY SERVICES!
