Wrong sized lamp

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • - The large flute lamp height is listed as 25 cm, which is incorrect.
  • - The representative is looking into it and the lamp base height is awaited.

the internet has the wrong size against the large flute lamp saying the height is 25 cms - obviously not! The man I spoke to was very nice and is looking into it. I am still waiting to hear how tall the actual lamp base is.

Loaf Furniture - Chair Review

AI Highlights
  • - Chinwag chairs bought four years ago; one leg fell off a chair and was repaired.
  • - Now two chairs remain; I will stick to Loaf's linen.

We bought 4 Chinwag chairs about ?4 years ago. One of the legs fell off one of the chairs and was repaired by a friendly joiner we have.

Just before Christmas my husband was deposited on the ground as a leg had fallen off another chair. I am left with 2 (? I wonder how long they will last). Meanwhile I have put two dining room chairs Regency period and know they will last longer!!

Sad, sad as I had wanted 4 modern kitchen chairs. They are made from reclaimed wood and the legs are bound to come off when you look at the joins.

I shall stick to Loaf's linen which is excellent. Lynette Findlay

Loaf Furniture - Crumpet Fabric Sofa Review from Ashford, Kent

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • - Loaf sofas stain easily and watermarks appear.
  • - Pet/child use ruins the sofa.
  • - Refund refused after 14 days; cushion swap offered.

We brought a sofa from loaf and have to say NEVER buy one of these awful sofas.. So they pride themselves on comfortable lounging..

Well i hope you don't have a dog or child as you will ruin the sofa within a week of getting it!!! The sofa leaves watermarks, now I have never noticed on Any other sofa in my life that you might accidentally drop water on your sofa, but with loaf sofa every little drop, damp clothing will leave stains and water marks.. We complained and they said that we were out of their 14 day return policy ( we complained after about 3-4 weeks) they would not refund us.. Just offered to swap the cushions which in my eyes is terrible..

Which we have to scotch guard ourselves! I would say I would probably be happy to throw the whole sofa in the bin.. We have had for 6 months and we paid £1600..

Disgusting! Please never buy one of these sofas!!!!

Awful post sale care

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • - Water stains the sofa; ignore the dry-clean label.
  • - Their reply was unsympathetic.
  • - Ask for written confirmation on cleanability before purchase.

The sofa material on the loaf sofas stains with water, they even told us to ignore the label for dry clean. Shocking response to our complaint, lots of design and a well spoken team but terrible lack of concern for what is an unusable material.

They were even sent videos from a professional dry cleaner of him demonstrating that the cleaning method they suggest doesn't work. The dry cleaning professional took it to the head of the dry cleaners uk institution and they believe the material is faulty

Loafs response was very disappointing and it bordered on 'so what'. Ask them specifically if the sofas are cleanable and if water will stain them before you buy and get the answer in writing!

Shame because we like their design but not the substance

Loss:
$2000
Cons:
  • Lack of interest in their defected prduct
