LKG Industries does not stand behind their products
- - Adapter bought for London trip didn't work.
- - Cost 19.99; store wouldn't accept a return due to policy.
- - Manufacturer said fuse blew and offered to fix.
As of 10/8/2012 I have not heard back from LKG Industries. They were going to fix the cell phone charger and send it back to me.
They have not done that. Very poor customer service!
I bought an adapter for my daughter to charge her cell phone on a recent trip to London, England. The part was 19.99 and when she tried to use it, it did not work at all.
She brought it home and I went to the place of purchase. The company would not return the product because they said, people would just buy the product, use it for what they needed and return it, so they had a very strict return policy. I turned to the manufacturer, who asked me to send the part and the receipt, which I did. They concluded that the fuse blew (accusing my daughter of plugging something in that was too much for the limits).
Saying that they would fix the part (which I no longer need)and return it to me.
I think that since the product failed to function for the purpose it was bought, and that event is in the past, they should refund my money. I will never buy any more products manufactured by this company and I would suggest buying a different manufacturer to anyone who reads this post.
